This is a great place for the delicious and inexpensive Indian food. They have buffet and it's based on weight. I think it's a great idea. I like the fact that they have tons of selection, especially in vegetarian dishes. Also it is not expensive for a very good Indian buffet.

I lived for a year in Ann Arbor but never got a chance to eat here. On my recent trip to Ann Arbor for couple of days, I stopped here for lunch. I heard only good things about this place, so I had to go here and try Indian buffet. I am glad I tried. I like every thing about it. It's nice place for quick lunch.

I try to avoid meat and like Indian food, but was really surprised by the quality of the food here. It is a simple 'pay by the weight' spot, but the sauces and spices were very carefully prepared. It caters to students but other tourists were in the restaurant too, and we were all amazed. The Saag was especially good. Wish it were closer to home.

Its a little hidden, small, maybe 6 small tables restaurant.

It is a buffet, for $6 a pound (it is easy to get to a pound of food! ). Drinks are standard bottles and not cheap.

This place was upgraded recently - for the better, although it is now disposable dishes rather than plates of all kinds of shapes and sizes.

The dishes are Indian, but not too spicy, excellent labeling so if you are vegan or gluten free or hate spicy or are allergic to anything, you know whats in it. I love the spinach and paneer, Not all the dishes on the online menu are there all the time

Also great for takeout!

Earthen Jar is the best. It's a terrific by-the-pound little place with some seating - mostly carry out. Good variety of veggie & mostly gluten-free food. Spice levels vary - well marked. Cold chick-peas are tasty. The paneer is creamy & great. The owner is nice too.

An entirely vegetarian indian buffet with gluten free and vegan options all clearly labelled. It is sold by the pound You fill up your plate or take out containers and they are all weighed and you pay a very reasonable price per pound. It is self-serve and you bus your trash (to a trash can outside the restaurant on your way out). The taste and choices are both excellent. The food is fresh. They have a number of healthy choices (including brown rice, soy milk based mango drinks, etc).
