We had our fantasy baseball draft at the Arbor Brewing Company -- which means that we experienced it for about 7 straight hours. It's big and has plenty of different kinds of seating, the beers were tremendous (the bourbon barreled stout and Bollywood Blonde were my favorites), and even the food was really good. Loved the shuffleboard.

Stopped here for dinner at 5:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. Waited 10 minutes before waiter came to table. Paid $6 for a local cider that was served in a 10 oz glass. Wasn't offered a larger glass despite the fact that most others had beers in pint glasses. The falafel wrap was very good, but the onion rings were tasteless and greasy.
I'm sure it's a fun place to hang out, they probably make great beers, the location is excellent, but don't go for the food or service. With all the other worthy dining choices in Ann Arbor, I probably won't go back.

Our visit coincided (by chance) with a "release party" where they offer a new beer, pouring generously at a fixed entry fee, with snacks free. There was also a great selection of other drafts - we sampled some of the darks, which covered a wide range of styles. The staff and clientele could not have been more friendly. We stayed for a couple of hours visiting with new acquaintances.

Located the heart of downtown, this is a great spot for beer and food. The menu is mostly locally sourced and has a great selection of food with many healthy choices. There's a good blend of vegetarian and non-veg offerings. We actually ended up eating here twice because it was such a good intersection of food and beer. While the best brewing honours in Ann Arbor have to go to Jolly Pumpkin, ABC has some great offerings as well. Great so see some selections on cask. They also have some harder to find beers on bottle at reasonable prices. Only downside for non-locals is that they don't have WiFi. They rely on the WiFi that blankets the downtown, and since we were there during the Winter Classic it kind of got crashed by the mass influx of people.

Downtown close to university. Stumbled across this place on a cold night looking for a beer! The bartender Don was great letting me try samples and discussing them. Had a Bourbon Barrel Aged Jackhammer ale which was limited. Their Sacred Cow and Pivo Porter were good also. Have questions ask them and I'm sure they'll help you.
