Food is excellent. Wide variety of cuisines. Clearly labelled menu items make it easy to know what is vegan or gluten-free or both. Fresh ingredients. Pleasant staff. The restrooms need more attention though.

The food was mediocre at best. The staff was nice, helpful and timely, but some of the food was outright not tasty, which makes one wonder about the quality of the ingredients, especially in a veggy place.
What we had:
Portabella burger was ok, the Yam fries were pretty good.
Pad Thai- not exactly a traditional pad thai, and not that tasty
Spinach Enchiladas- pretty decent
Cilatro Peanut stir-fry- way way overspiced with too much cumin, to the point that it was not tasty.
I don't think we will come back, there was nothing else on the menu I want to try...

I had the Enchiladas Calabaza, made with squash. It was quite good--not too sweet like squash is sometimes served. Lots of food. Excellent tortilla chips came with the enchiladas. As an appetizer out table shared the yam fries--excellent!, and the General Tso's Cauliflower which was absolutely wonderful. Atmosphere was nice, with stained glass panels throughout.

You can eat your way from one end of Ann Arbor the other ... and you will come back to Seva. It's vegetarian, but everyone will love it.

My daughter is a vegetarian and opted for this place for her birthday dinner. I am not a vegetarian but generally appreciate veg restaurants because they try very hard to be creative and often succeed, as in the case of this place. This restaurant is located in what appears to be a converted residence on Liberty in central Ann Arbor. It was not too difficult to find and there was inexpensive public parking ($1.20 per hour) in a new, convenient underground garage nearby (within a block of the restaurant). The interior atmosphere was well done as there was a hint of nostalgia in the décor with a spacious seating arrangement including both booths and tables. The dining room and the bar areas were separated and the former was a little brighter than the latter providing a pleasant atmosphere for dining. We were seated promptly and the waiter attended to us fairly quickly despite the busy atmosphere. The level of activity was rather surprising as we walked in on a Saturday night only 35 minutes before closing (we were still not the last ones to leave despite departing 15 minutes after closing). The waiter was efficient and yet unobtrusive so we were, thus, quite happy with the service all evening. The menu was very creative and we enjoyed contemplating all of the unique choices. There were four of us and we decided on the Pad Thai, the Pasta Alla Bosca, and the Black Bean and Sweet Potato Quesadilla. We also started with the Ginger Carrot Soup and the Fruit Salad. The soup offered a lovely taste as a starter and the fruit on the salad was very fresh. The mains were all excellent. The Pad Thai had a generous portion of peanuts sprinkled on top giving it a very nice flavor. The Pasta was also nicely flavored and contained soy sausage that was amazingly well textured. But we enjoyed the Quesadilla the most as it had a terrific taste and was accompanied by a tomato salsa as well as a corn salsa (at our request in place of the guacamole) in addition to the sour cream. Everyone in our party uniformly held a high opinion of this preparation. They also offered some unique drinks as I tried the Ginger Brew for something a little different. It was very good but definitely had a strong ginger flavor. The prices in this establishment were very, very reasonable for the quality of the fare. I would highly recommend this place if you have any kind of penchant for this style of food.
