But no as WOW as everyone puts it at least in my first experience. I had a Nº30 "The Special" Salmon Sandwich. I had to actually make the sandwich myself, but all the ingredients were really fresh and good. Also service is quick and waiters are really friendly. It is hard to tip because you pay first and then they bring you food. Theres sooooo many options.

Thank Paula D

We were 4 adults and each ordered a different sandwich, all of which were excellent. We ordered the smaller ones and we finished all four. We shared a side of garlic potato salad which was very good. Great choices of beverages. Also, the bread was wonderful and fresh. The weather was great and we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating area. After walking off the food, we went next door to their dessert cafe and had amazing gelato. Dark chocolate and hazelnut chocolate were fabulous. we had the 2 oz. size and it was rich enough to satisfy us.

Dozens of specialized sandwiches. It is expensive but definitely worth it. Huge portions. The tomato bisque soup was magnificent. My wife loved the pickles....reminded her of her mom's homemade pickles. We both got the "Georgian" which had smoked turkey, delicious cheese and dressing. Seating was either indoor or outdoor; the weather was nice so we were able to enjoy the outdoor patio.

Before traveling to Ann Arbor, everyone you ask will tell that a trip to Zingerman's is a requirement. I'm thinking - its a deli, what's the big deal. Now I get it - this is an experience you need to try. Amazing selection of sandwiches. The bread used for each of the sandwiches is homemade and spectacular. I had the meatball sandwich and it was great. The sandwiches are a bit pricey, but they taste great and your'll love the experience.

Great atmosphere, an Ann Arbor icon, great sandwiches but $70.00 for lunch for four people? And two of us didn't have beverages. We will go back but not very often because of price.
