“Duck Breast Amazing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2014

Earle is one of my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. Their duck breast is so wonderful.
If they improve their service then I would give them 5 stars.
Atmosphere was good enough.

“12th anniversary dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2014

My hubby and I ate here to celebrate our 12th anniversary. We had a voucher to split an appetizer and each have an entree. I had stuffed chicken breasts and he had fish. Both were very tasty. We told them we weren't in a hurry and they were very respectful of that. They kept our water glasses full which I really like. The ambiance is neat. It's in a basement with brick walls and wine corks in designs. We were there late enough to listen to some of the jazz, which was great. There was a city parking lot kitty corner to the restaurant so it was a short walk. Very nice.

“Good food fairly priced”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

We tried this spot as an alternative to another steakhouse. The entrees are fairly priced and servers recommendations were good. Appetizers were also good. We provided parameters for a French wine and price range and the choice selected was excellent. I was very impressed with the depth of the wine list.

I think the booths could have a refresh and pads on wood slide and makes access a challenge.

Overall a fair price for good food and honest server input. Interesting location in lower level and rather creative use of corks for the decor.

“Better Options Elsewhere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

There are a lot of options in Ann Arbor in this price range. Food was excellent. Decor is very dark. Furniture and eating area show signs of age. Although polite, servers were not very attentive. Guests seated after us received menus and placed orders before we even saw a menu. At times, we were left completely alone for extended periods of time. At a restaurant of this kind service is integral part of the dining experience: plates are removed immediately, tablecloth is cleaned between courses, someone is always within eye shot for instant attention. This was not the case as we were left alone for extended periods of time. We will try somewhere else next time.

“Outstanding and Worth the Money”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

This is a fine dining restaurant and the prices reflect the excellent food and superb service. We were in a group of eight and the service was seamless. Surely it would be the same for couples.

Our reservation was for 6:30pm on Saturday night, and we were glad to have been that early because the jazz trio that began at eight, while great, would have made conversation among the eight of us difficult. If you like music, book later in the evening so you can hear more than we did -- they really did sound good.
