“You won't be disappointed!”
Reviewed June 16, 2012

I drove two hours today to have high tea with three girlfriends at the TeaHaus. The tea was superb (I sampled 7 varieties). The finger sandwiches were creative and delicious. The scones were perfect unlike the heavy biscuits that are often passed off as scones. The desserts were beautiful, delicate and a culinary delight. It was well worth the trip we all agreed!

“Fabulous high English teas. Delightful owner.”
Reviewed February 13, 2012

Tea Haus has become a regular spot for birthday celebrations with my friends. For $25 per person (advance reservations required) you get High Tea which includes soup, four different types of sandwiches, several savories (such as mini quiches), two types of scones, 4 kinds of home-made jam, clotted cream, 3 types of desserts and unlimited amounts of tea. The tea listings are extraordinary -- there are hundreds. The owner/chef is knowledgeable about teas; the foods are inventive, and she is one of the friendliest restauranteurs in town. You can also do a scaled-back version of a high tea without reservations -- haven't tried this so I can't speak to what's included. Loose teas and tea pots are available for sale as well.
