The food was fresh. The pizza was great. The portions are small and it is expensive. It was very crowded and loud.

“Fabulous Italian”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

This is certainly one of the best places to eat in Ann Arbor. The appetizers are first rate, probably the best part of the menu. The pastas are fairly good, some are excellent, as are the salads. Many people come for pizza, which I tend to stay away from, but in a town that has millions of mediocre pizza joints, this must be an attraction. The wines are good, with full pours, and decent prices. The atmosphere is first rate, although because of the low ceiling it can get very noisy. It has become one of our favorite one or two places in town. It is busy and noisy without being crude and oppressive, as is so often the case here.

“FROM A NEW YORKER...BETTER THAN HOME”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

If one can get in, one should go. Best pizza ever..
Comfortable, New york style to go with your New York pizza and Osteria menu.
Aside from the crowds only the service is a drawback, but in their defense, the many patorns may be the source of the delay.

“awesome date night”
Reviewed March 24, 2013

Coming here took us back to Italy for dinner. Ordered a spritz from the bar and it was awesome! Had excellent pizza! There was a long wait, but we squeezed our way up to the bar to order some cocktails and the bartenders were very friendly. Had an excellent time, would definitely go back the next time my sig. other is in town.

“What a find!”
Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Went with friends to try a new place for lunch. 5 of us shared several antipasti dishes and two pizzas ( the red onion and pistachio pizza is amazing). Everything was great and we had plenty of food. The strawberry lemonade was also quite refreshing. It's not a quiet place and the restaurant is very open so if you want privacy this isn't the place to go. But, undoubtedly a fun place to go with a group of friends with the comfy ambience of the wood burning stove nearby. The service was prompt and friendly with staff willing to help one another out to get the lunch crowd back to work on time. Nice place, can't wait to go back.
