“Service killed this place! Was it the one waitress or is it just the way it is here?”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

First time here. Delicious menu and the food didn't disappoint. But the service really stunk. I knew we were in trouble when the waitress wasn't paying attention while we were ordering and here eyes were everywhere but on us. We never saw her again. I had to snag any of the wait stuff who happened to be waling by to get server, pay the bill, get more water, and order more food. It was really frustrating because the menu holds much promise. However, what use is great food when the service plain stunk?!?! The other thing I didn't like was the loudness and general state of chaos. I had a headache walking out...

“Hits all the right notes”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

Barely noticed this place before. It's easy to underestimate what it is until you go inside. We were pleasantly surprised! Nice vibe, fast seating, fast service. Interesting, various, authentic food. Generous portions, and very reasonable. It was easy to imagine being somewhere besides Ann Arbor. Would definitely go back.

“More than just a noodle bar.”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Pleasantly surprised every time! The apps are fantastic - don't miss the pork buns. Pho Basic is also wonderful and it's hard for me to order anything else. Fun atmosphere, drinks, fast service. Highly recommend.

“inexpensive noodle shop for lunch”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

we stopped in for a quick bite after a campus tour at U of Mich. The food was a good combination to combat the cold and wet outside. they have daily noodle specials which are quite reasonable, at night they have happy hour and more of a bar scene.
good choice near campus.

“Beats out Noodles and Company”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

This is a great spot overshadowed by other easy eats on S. University. Turn the corner people! Go down Liberty and hop in here for fresh, fast, filling portions; timely and easy service; weekly specials. No - seriously - get in here for a steaming bowl of Pho to keep away the AA chill. You'll be thinking about when you can get back before you leave! Try the donburi too - seasonings were spot on and price was easy on the purse.
