It’s top five school. Campus is throughout the city. The Big House is Great. The diag is great to walk through. Dorm rooms are undergoing renovations.

Took my HS son after almost 30 years.
Amazed how many places are still kicking around and how many new (and interesting) architectural gems have been added to central Campus.
For my money this is one of the most beautiful, well laid out, vaguely urban, campuses there are.
Ann Arbor is a real town with restaurants and movie theaters. Maybe a million bars. Great sports scene and literally 50,000 coeds.
Buildings are beautiful, lots of brick, law library and residences always a remarkable site. Walking across diag and seeing all the various buildings is always a thrill. Stately oaks shade almost everything. Squirrels are way bigger than I remembered.
The Arb remains a beautiful pocket sized park and the campus spreads in all directions. Then blocks and blocks of student housing and the Omni-present detritus of discarded solo cups.
Michigan is cold, cloudy and often wet. But this is a nice place to spend a few years chasing those initials.
Big campus, no need for a car but a bike would serve you well.

Fall is the best time to visit the University of Michigan campus. The quad is surrounded by huge trees with leaves turning and surrounded by architectural delights. Great atmosphere for a top institution

The campus and supporting area dominate most of the city and suburban area in Ann Arbor. I doubt the city would survive if not for the school. The buildings and facilities are first rate. The grounds are well maintained and very inviting. I understand why the university is so popular.

This University is amazing! Friendly staff, clean, awesome academics program. The "Big House" does get packed on football game days, especially the night ones! Give extra time on these days as side roads in the residential area get backed up. Many residents hold signs as to how much they charge to Park on their property. Ranged from $20-$50. Cars are just parked everywhere! Lots of tailgating going on along the sidewalks. I must say at the end of the night it is trashed, but by mid afternoon they had most of it cleaned up! Was very impressed! The stadium is massive and beautiful! The baseball field is also clean and beautiful! The study center is outstanding! Everything for athletes is very close together and the dorms only about a 10 minute walk. We cannot wait to go back and explore more of Ann Arbor!
On the way out we stopped at Lake St. Clair. Nice lake to get some pics at.
