We stayed at the Alpena Resort and found the staff very accommodating, The rooms recently updated and spotless. The breakfast was very complete and tasty. We will look forward staying in the Resort again soon!

I have stayed at this location at least a dozen times at the property formally known as the Best Western. Staff is always very accommodating to your special needs. Rooms are clean, they still have a wonderful breakfast bar. Rates are reasonable.

We stayed at the Best Western in Alpena. Soon to be the Alpena Resort, the room was clean and comfortable. Pool was hi heated and the hot tub was clean and operational. The best part is that they accepted our little four legged fur baby. I would recommend this place to kickback and relax while passing through the Alpena area.

Always stay at best westerns..friendly service and clean rooms.. exercise room, hot tub, pool is an added plus while on vacation and relaxing from a busy day... hot breakfast, internet, cable tv is a plus.

We were thrilled to find our room neat, orderly & the cleanest we ever stayed in. Problems with a faulty heater were taken care of promptly & with a smile & a friendly dedication. We will be returning every chance we get when we travel to Alpena, MI. Thank you Best Western.

Was hesitant about staying since I prefer hotels a/ out exposed doors into my room. Alpena doesn’t have much to offer hotel wise. My company pays tho C.L.C. rooms are limited.
Gal from the H.I. Hotel recommended them..
Am I happy to have made the right choice! Close to Walmart, Mc Donald’s, Meijer & Apple B’s. Easy in & out..
I live on hotels for work. All over tho mostly in the state of Mi.. I’ll say this.. The B.W. Alpena is by far one of the most comfortable, quiet, updated hotel w/ nice modern decor, great workmanship on the renovations, clean, clean, clean!
Was there for 2 weeks & will stay again if I have to go back! Met the owner & he’s hands on w/ any building issue.. He’s a worker, prideful as he should be!
