located just 4 blocks from the city center, it is a good place where to rest after walking in the beautiful sucre: i don't have to complain nothing about this b&b, and it isn't expensive: suggested for sure

I stayed two nights here in early Dec.

Rene, the owner made this B&B feel like a home away from home. Warm, friendly and extremely helpful.

The place was very clean, rooms quiet and comfortable and breakfast was great! Location wise, it's a 5 min walk from the main square so it's very convenient. Lots of shops, restaurants, food stalls and convenience stores nearby too.

Highly recommended in Sucre!

Your positive comment motivate us to move forward. Thank you so much, many thanks for your help. A kritikaster like someone from a neighboring bores us into the ground. René

Yes more of a B&B than hostel, but priced at hostel rates.
Rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms are good, although ours had an issue draining water when it was on the floor. Location is excellent and Rene and his staff offer good advice and friendly service to travellers. Breakfasts were one of the best i had in Bolivia also. Wifi works well.
Sucre really is not a city to be missed in favour of the La Paz/Uyuni run.

Me and my camera crew stayed in Rene's hidden treasure Casa Verde. A quiet place with everything you need. Equipment was safe, restaurants and bars nearby, information more than ok. René is the perfect host in this quiet place, and not so far away from the busy city center. Thenk you René for having us.

We stayed here in August for 2 nights, then left much of our luggage there for safekeeping while we headed out for a 2 nights - 3 days Maragua Crater hike, and retuned for a final night. We were so pleased with this B&B - Rene, the owner, was lovely and he made sure all was good. His staff was pleasant and we felt very comfortable and at home. It was great that Casa Verde had 2 computers available for guests - without added charge, as we did not bring any devices ourselves.
Our room, located just next to the breakfast-computer room, had an upstairs loft where the TV was - a lovely space. The main area was spacious and allowed us to deal with our gear very easily. Hot water was available, which is not always a given, as our room was equipped with a water heater for the shower. Nice.
The courtyard with flowers was quite lovely; it also had some lounging around furniture which was nice.
Breakfast was nicely laid out and included fruit, toast-bread, marmelade, eggs, fresh juice.
In a country still discovering tourism, this was a gem of a find. We learned that European ex-pats places were the most recommended ones in Sucre, and this is one of them.

My husband and I are on a bike trip through Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. We were totally exhausted after four weeks on the road and needed a break. On the advice of the Tripadvisor, we checked in to Casa Verde in central Sucre. We are here for six days and can't recommend the accommodation or Rene's hospitality high enough. The guest house is quiet, clean, attractive and welcoming. Breakfast is great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Rene is a great host and we feel safe and relaxed at last! Margaret,

Room Tip: All rooms appear good. We had H4, a double room with it's own inner courtyard, very nice.
