We stayed a total of 7 nights her - 3 nights before a trek and then 4 nights afterwards. It has a great location, being only 3 blocks from the main square, but is still nice and quiet. Before our trek we had a double room with a shared bathroom (100 Bs per night) and afterwards we had a double room with a private bathroom (140 Bs per night) as that was all they had available. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and the beds have plenty of blankets. There is a well equipped kitchen (the best of any hostel we have stayed in so far) for the guests to use. There is also a TV room with sofas, cable TV and a large selection of DVDs available for guests to watch. There is a lovely courtyard as well as terrace to chill out on and enjoy the sunshine.

The owners are very friendly and helpful, doing what they could to help us out. They are also able to supply nice Bolivian wine at a very reasonable price (25-45 Bs per bottle)

There are only ten rooms and the hostel was fully booked each night we stayed there. The price per room does not include breakfast.

We would have liked to stay here a lot longer as this hostel, as well as the city of Sucre, are great places to just relax.

Highly recommend this place, the owners are most friendly and welcoming and give you loads of help and advice when you arrive and at any other time you need it. There is a beautiful courtyard around which the rooms are based so its very peaceful and chilled out, though some rooms also face the road which can be a bit noisy. There is a nice lounge with a TV and loads of DVDs to watch as well as cable TV incl sports.

Breakfast is not included but the kitchen is fine to cook in and take your food outside to eat in the courtyard.

Location is fine, near the market and five mins in to the main square. Its also near two of the main Spanish schools if that's what you're planning to do.

Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return

This was an amazing surprise. Incredible value for money. My room was large and bright, the bed was great, and so was the bathroom. The Swiss owners, who speak French, English, German, and of course Spanish, are extremely friendly. Ask them for any recommendation you need. The hostal has a kitchen upstairs for communal use, a terrace where you can eat, and plenty of sitting upstairs and downstairs to lounge. There is also an in-door lounge with a TV and plenty of DVDs. It's only a couple of blocks from the downtown market and very close to the sights, and yet much quieter than the majority of places I've stayed at in Bolivia. A great place to relax.

Room Tip: Rooms near the kitchen are noisier, and close to the area where smokers gather.

This guesthouse is very well located, near the market, should you want to cook you own fresh vegetable-based dishes (one does get tired of the rice and meat dishes). Everything is extremely clean, works well, is comfortable and the place has a very cosy feeling to it. On top of all that, both Jacqueline and Olivier go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Jacqueline can tell you a lot about Sucre, both typical outings and off-the-beaten-track stuff. I stayed here on and off for about a month and can only highly recommend it!
