Wow! Didn't know Bolivia could do meals this well. It was amazing - the meat was cooked beautifully (though I think I got my partners steak which was medium well and I wanted medium. It was medium but his was undercooked esp when compared to mine). So check your meat when it arrives as you may need to get it cooked further if you expect it like home. Portions were large with no room for dessert (which looked amazing).
Without a doubt if you want good food go here (meat was up there with Argentina). Wine selection was restricted but it was an amazing meal - everyone pretty much licked their plates clean.
There is also one in Potosi if you don't make it to the one in Sucre we discovered.

This is good food, and by local standards excellent food.

It is well cooked and presented. The only criticism I had was that the plates were stone cold, and hence the food did not stay hot long enough.

We had their excellent reserve Chardonnay to wash the food down

The atmosphere was very good, the lighting correct, and the service attentive without being overbearing. The owner was at hand to oversee the whole evening

Very enjoyable and thoroughly recommended

Small cozy friendly ambiance. It gets busy so reserve, lots of walk-ins turned away whilst I ate.

Terrific food and not overly rich or heavy, unlike many French inspired restaurants. Presentation and quality comes close to international fine dining IMHO

Juice, Soup, Steak, desert and expresso came to BOB150 inc. generous tip. Well worth it

This place really is a gem. Relaxed european flair combined with great service and great food. The entré was delicious, skewers of beef and fresh vegies, the main aswell and the dessert was also well executed ( u can't go wrong with choclate/almond tarte ). Also the house wine was tasty. Thbs up, i'll definitly try to sqeeze in one more visit in our short stay in Sucre.

This place is great. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff are friendly and attentive and although the customers do seem to be quite snooty they're easy to ignore. The lighting is great, the restaurant is open plan but cozy, the decoration is well done too. I had a really good evening with good food and it was worth every penny. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to Sucre.
