Had a lovely tour of the church-which was once the oldest in Bolivia but was destroyed by a flood and rebuilt in the 1700's. The attached convent is the oldest in Bolivia however.
Views from the roof were fantastic and the guide was wonderful. There are tours at 9.00 and 11.00 and then a couple in the afternoon.
We did a mini tour of the roof, church, patio and catacombs which took around an hour.
I have a bit of vertigo but was ok on the roof-lots of handrails, just remember to go slowly if you're not acclimatized to the altitude-climbing 30 storeys at 4000m can be a bit of a challenge!
Would really recommend & only 15Bs per person (£1.30 each).
