The lunch menu is really affordable (25Bs) and includes salad/ soup buffet a main dish and small dessert. The food is not outstanding but for the price it is really well prepared. The staff is very attentive.

We stumbled onto Phisqa Warmis one evening as we were strolling Sucre looking for somewhere to eat. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside we saw warm colors and people sipping drinks by candlelight - looked really cozy, so we went in. There was nice music playing, which added to the ambience. It was pretty clear that this place is more of a bar than a restaurant, but they do have food as well. I think we were the only ones eating though.

The menu is pretty typical pub fare for Bolivia - pizza, empanadas, quesadillas, salads, rellenos, finger food, and a few main dishes like chicken curry, llama chorizo, and empanadillas. We tried a pizza, it was pretty bad - cubes of Andean cheese instead of shredded cheese made it sticky and it was doughy too. The empanadillas were mini-empanadas filled with llama ham, cheese, and a few other things. They were more of a light bar snack but they were pretty good. Together with the pizza, we had enough to eat.

They had cheap wine - about 80 Bs for a bottle of Chilean wine, about half the price the hotels charge for Bolivian wine. A wide selection of drinks and beers. The ambience was so cozy that we didn't want to leave. On Friday nights they have live music on the stage, but tonight it was just piped in. Really this place felt like an upscale lounge (in Potosi) where you can sit for hours and chat by candlelight over a bottle of wine. Nice place, very friendly service, no English.
