First of all, we won't stop raving about this restaurant for a very long time. Not many restaurants have surpassed mine or my husband's expectations, but this one is in a class of its own. We read the reviews by other visitors before arriving, but went with an open mind. We found the mother and son to be very friendly and helpful and did not in any way find them to be cold or hostile. They had no pretense, just real people. The food was just amazing, and for what you get, the food is definitely not expensive! Every dish is hand made with obviously fresh and very high quality ingredients. You are paying for what you get. For starters we ordered the onion soup to share, my husband had the pork pate, I had the salmon with cream cheese. For the main dishes, my husband had the confit du conard and I had beef bourguignon. For dessert we had tarte tatan and creme brulee. We also asked for them to make a suggestion of wine which paired nicely with our meal. Every dish was wonderful and we left feeling comfortably full and satisfied. The ambiance of the place is very cosy, not at all too small. The decorations have been well thought out to create a feeling of being in a real European family restaurant. Highly recommend this place!
