“Traditional Style food”
Reviewed September 5, 2012

The food is good, the interiors remind of Arabian nights!
They have a drink "karkadeit" not sure if I spelled it right, but its a very good drink (contains no alcohol)

“Good food, great interiors, but the Shisha smoke can be too much”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

I live in Dubai, and am quite used to eating Arabic/ Lebanese food here, and in the region.

This eatery is pretty good, and ranks high in my opinion owing to the quality of the food here, as well as the atmosphere - the interiors are done up very well indeed and in a very rustic manner.

However, if you are not used to smoke, then either avoid it, or ask for the last section which is slightly less smoky...

The grills are a must eat - the lebanese bread that they serve is the hit puffy ones, and not the dry flat ones that are typically served at average restaurants. Just eating these breads with salad, hummus, and pickles is good . They also have a large variety of fresh juices - would suggest to try the mixed cocktails (mocktails actually, since this is an alcohol free place).

Avoid the mint+lime - not sweetened and can pack a punch.

All in all, I would recommend this alongwith Karam Beirut in Dubai mall, and Al Nafoorah in Emirates towers.

“Good place for meeting friends”
Reviewed September 2, 2012

This place is good for meeting friends about every other month.
Good food reserved and nice staff. The shesha is forming clouds almost everywhere. Very very very crowded in seasons ( Eids, holidays ..) and in weekend. The prices is higher comparing with the others almost Dhs 120 / person.

My advice: if you find better, don't hesitate to leave.

“Excellent Lebanese food in Dubai”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

I've been going to Reem al Bawadi for a long time and I think the food there is very good in terms of freshness and variety. Their new outlet now opened in Marina, which makes it a very nice place to be during the week-ends. They also have a lot of screens and they always show soccer games or other sports. It's also a good place to smoke shisha.
