Yalumba is a great place for dining out with friends or family. Apart from their lavish indoor buffet there is a BBQ station outside where you can grab some mouthwatering pork chops, bangers, etc.
As for the buffet, you can get a lot of seafood like sushi, sashimi, smoked fish, and crabs - in addition to a standard selection of main courses.
In general, Yalumba is a very good dining spot with rich selection of good food.
The only drawback was that, one of the lamb chops that we've picked from the BBQ station was completely raw and unchewable inside – though it looked absolutely alright outwardly.

I was staying at Le Meridien overnight so decided to give Yalumba another chance. Years ago when living in Dubai I had been to one of their notorious Friday brunches and can still remember the hang over I suffered. Yalumba has, or had I'm no longer sure to be honest, a reputation as one of the rowdiest Friday brunches in Dubai.

I am happy to report that Thursday evening buffet dinners are very civilised. The theme is international buffet and barbecue. The price including a drinks package (as much as you want) is AED 250. I had a voucher in my room which gave a 20% discount so AED 200 a head turned out to be excellent value.

A welcome drink is offered on arrival (alcoholic or non) and there is seating inside and out. There is a list of drinks included with 3 or 4 mid range red and white wines, beers and limited spirits.

The buffet area did get a little crowded at times but it was a holiday weekend. Outside there was a further buffet area with the barbecue. I was pleased to see that pork was being offered on the barbecue. A rare sight at times in UAE hotels.

A small range of sea food (cold) was available. I would certainly like to try the sea food buffet another time. Cheese and deserts included a good range.

The serving staff did an excellent job during a busy shift. Glasses of wine and water were constantly being refilled.

This visit has certainly shaken off the negative vibes i had about Yalumba from Friday brunch experiences. Whilst I will never be tempted to visit again on a Friday afternoon, I will certainly return for the evening buffets when next in Dubai.

The museli choice is good but the eggs Benedict is excellent. It's a good way to start the day but the air conditioning and loud music are too much

So I'd never been to a Dubai lunch before and this was an experience. Nice drinks and some pretty nice food to order were a great combination. I'm ashamed to say I didn't try a lot of the different foods, but what I had was delicious and would definitely be back. Service was good

When they do buffets in Dubai they really do them well and this place was fantastic.
I went for the package that included alcohol. The staff were attentive and refilled my glass without me needing to ask. I love a red wine and the wine here was good.
The food was simply amazing! The seafood, the lamb, the desserts... All so good, I could have eaten here days on end!
