“Great view but So-So food”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

The location is unbelievable , no doubt , it is at the top of Burj AlArab great hotel, so the view is dazzling. Staff are so many! and they are there for you at every step of the way to the restaurant.

However, the place is tight. Also, I have asked for a window table , but we reached there , we didn’t find any. The food is so-so , and does not have many options, and the prices , you would expect them to be very high since you are on top of one of the most luxurious hotel in the world.

“NOT AN ARABIAN NIGHT”
Reviewed April 26, 2013 via mobile

It is just like Dubai itself. The place is too kitch in the negative way. Menu comes in any language you want and this is nice.
The atmosphere is below average and the location is populated by so many wannabes.
Service is poor when I asked for toasted bread for my tartare I got shaved fried parmigiano shaves!
Overall I am not a fun of Dubai and I wanted to experiment the BURJ. I am happy I did it and don't have to do it again.
Ciao

“Great food, amazing view, perfect staff”
Reviewed April 15, 2013

We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday (diner), made the reservation via internet (very easily done, quick answer) and got a nice table at the window, as requested. Staff is very professional, efficient, discreet, everything one could expect from such a place. Menu is interesting, offers good choice and all sort of food, european and from elsewhere. The suggested menu is definitely a very good idea, as it offers 6 different plates, from fish to meat, incredible tastes, and comes with a glass of different wine with each plate. Price-wise very interesting. Quality is top, service as well, worth every penny spent. Would absolutely recommend this place, also for a Friday brunch. If a reservation is made, the confirmation must be shown at the security booth at the hotel's entrance, and again at the restaurant. It also an opportunity to "visit" the place, that's to see the main hall, and the quite amazing view from the front elevator, which has a window towards the sea.

“Good seafood but other courses were so-so”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Had brunch there which costed 560AED per person. Fresh juices included but not water. Good variation of sushi, sashimi and sea food. But the warm courses were so-so, no any good quality meat like beef etc. And food variation is not especially large considering the price. I couldn't really find much I like at dessert, salad and warm courses, so I sticked with sea food. There was a live music band during the lunch. There is no any balcony that you can have a view even the restaurant is on the top of the building. You do get 30 minutes to tour inside the hotel public area but not the pool area, and the lobby etc was very small, you see everything in 5 minutes. There is no beach around the hotel building.

“Wow the lobby!”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

We booked a dinner way in advance, and the experience was surreal. Hotel is absolutely unbelievable, and if you can't afford to stay here, at least come for dinner! Restaurant has weird design, and after sunset there is no view apart from darkness, but food is great and experience will stay with you a life time!
We spent 700 dollars on two starters and mains and 4 glasses of champaign. Expensive but was worth the experience.
