Owner description: Described as both a ‘Vertical City’ and ‘A Living Wonder,’ Burj Khalifa, developed by Dubai-based Emaar Properties PJSC, is the world’s tallest building. Rising gracefully from the desert, Burj Khalifa honours the city with its extraordinary union of art, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship. At 828 metres (2,716.5 ft), the 200 plus storey Burj Khalifa has 160 habitable levels, the most of any building in the world. The tower was inaugurated on January 4, 2010, and is responsible for a number of world-firsts. The tower became the world’s tallest man-made structure just 1,325 days after excavation work started in January 2004. Burj Khalifa utilised a record-breaking 330,000 cubic metres of concrete; 39,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement; 103,000 square metres of glass; and 15,500 square metres of embossed stainless steel. The tower took 22 million man hours to build.

Last year we did day view from the top which was amazing, no problems to get to the top and see the wonderful views and then come down. This year booked a night time viewing for 6.30 pm.The instructions on the ticket, arrive ten minutes before your time. We arrived at 6 pm and did not go up till 7.35 pm because of the chaos.....staff working there could not handle the amount of people wanting to go up at the alloted times and just shoved you in various queues......once at the top it was amazing views and watched the amazing water fountains show from above. when we wanted to go down we had to join the queue which almost went all the way around and waited 40 mins and then we were taken few floors down changed lifts which went to residents area and then the main lift to take us down......To say it spoilt other wise a wonderful experiance would be an understatement...The organsiers have to devise a better system as the day time so that this sort of thing does not happen where you are held in diffrent pens like sheep
but i still give TOP RATING........Also watched the fountain show when we came down wow!!!!!!! brilliant,,,,, it starts every half an hour and lasts 5 mins worth every minute ........

We couldn't resist the chance to go up the tallest tower in the world and the whole experience was quite slick. We did book before we left the UK otherwise we wouldn't have been able to visit as the queues were quite long

I could never see myself doing this but standing at the bottom got the urge to book a trip to the top.
It is very well organised and well worth the money. The view is amazing. I had to go early as had other commitments that day and would advise to try and book midday as some of the haze may have burnt off. In saying that it is a very interesting trip.

Enjoyed at the top but be aware if you book a time it means the time from which you will start to queue. Many queue jumpers and you wait to go up so you will need to wait to come down. Take a drink!
