This mall has all the best brands, 80 restaurants, cinemas, connected to Dubai Metro and a SKI SLOPE!
I am not a skier but my friend in Dubai takes his son skiing regularly and they love it.

We went here not really for the shopping but to see the indoor ski slope. Although we didn't have the schedule to spend time on the ski slope etc, there are views of it from the ground and first floors and it's a bit surreal to look at, stuck within a shopping centre. If you're after shopping it's a good choice. There's shopping for all budgets I would say, it's definitely not all top end designer ware. For example, my wife found the Nine West store prices much much lower than in Australia. We had a 7 year old and no issue bringing children here and we felt really safe. There's lots of eating options and there are also food courts on the ground floor at each end (east and west). It has its own metro station but taxis are easier I found and inexpensive. We spent about 3 hours here but if you wanted shopping, shopping and more shopping, I'd aim for a couple of days.

It was nice, clean, organized, (if you need to take a cab), entertaining. They have Ski Dubai, where you can test/develope your skiing skills, in the middle of a building, built, where there was once a desert. Amazing to see...
Shops are high end and they have everything!

Imagine a mall in the searing heat of dubai"s 45 degrees which has a snow slope and ski, with alpine features and ski lifts??? where else in the world can this be possible but in dubai.
And that is not all. The mall has some of the best restaurants and shopping features. We can happily pass a few hours every day and still not tire. As it is connected to the dubai metro- this makes it easier for commuters and shoppers. A fantastic shopping entertainment destination.
It has Asha"s restaurant and bombay chowpatty cafetaria too. And the lovely MORE cafe too. We love the buzz of activity in the mall. The carrefour hypermarket is a beehive of activity too.

After my first visit to Dubai, I was amazed and wanted to back again. This time though, we didn't go to Dubai mall, but went to Mall of Emirates instead. The place was spotless. The layout, ceiling, floor, just create the luxury ambience.Just like Dubai Mall, you see sports car and other luxury vehicle parked on the lobby entrance. It more crowded than Dubai Mall, people tend to shop at this mall I think. From Deberham, Harvey Nichol, Chanel,LV, and all other brand you can name it,are available here. They also offered various range of restaurant, big name from United States also available such as PF chang. Apparently they have indoor-ski available at this place, however don't have enough time as we visited during night time. This mall is good to spend and spoil your day from the extreme hot air of Dubai.
