Al Mamzar Beach Park

I have to say that I love Dubai and I have been living here for 5 years but one of the things I really is the dirty toilets in the public parks and mainly in Mamzar. You have to pay 5 AED for entrance and you expect that for this fee they at least get the toilets clean and with a proper fen. It is unbelievable hot and dirty. Mamzar management should be really ashamed of this. Also there is no security and all the workers going there during the weekend and on public beach will take pictures of girls in bikini and try to bother you while swimming. This didnt happen anywhere else. It was my last time in Mamzar, I will rather go for the free public beach in Jumeira

Dubai is a huge resort city with many things to do, and to find a quiet safe beach for swimming is not easy. Mamzar Park offers a secluded safe environment for young and old visitors and their children of all ages.
It is also a favourite of the local community who appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Yes on Fridays it can be busy but during the week it can often be idylic. I have swum at Mamzar many times and in many different seasons over the past 6 years, and plan to go again soon.
There are many trees for shelter and barbecue areas together with well maintained clean changing rooms and toilets, and a few little kiosks for beach needs. Sun shades and sun loungers are also available at reasonable prices
The Park opens at 8am and closes late with just a small entry cost of 5 Dirhams per person, it is easy to spend the day there.

It would be difficult to classify Al Mamzar Park as a must visit for travellers unless you want to take a day off from city life, and spend quality time with the family. Al Mamzar Park has been for years my favourite spot for early morning swims. The park offers several activities for couples and families. You can hire a two-seater bike for AED30 an hour, you can bring your picnic or even take advantage of the BBQ stands, walking around the park is also amazing. There are some canteens but do not provide much of varieties (mainly biscuits, snacks, soft-drinks, icecream and water). You can enjoy the the swimming pools (AED10 adults, AED5 kids) or just head to the beach, it is very clean, crystal clear (you can see tiny fish swimming around you), and tides are usually less than other places. The park also offers chalets for rent (AED150 to AED200) on daily basis. There is a small entrance fee for individuals (AED3 or AED5), or even by your car (AED 30 or AED 35). If planning to visit on a Friday morning, make sure you get there early (before 8AM) to avoid the queues and get the best spots.

My husband and I went there.
He swam for awhile and we walked there for an hour.
We went there almost every day for a walk.
It was romantic, beautiful, and very peaceful.

This is a nice beach park with a minimal fee of 5 dhs. The place is for the people who loves peace, tranquility and quiet time (go only during weekdays because fridays and saturdays tend to be more crowded). Sometimes if your are lucky you will have the whole beach for yourself. It has a massive ampitheatre, a swimming pool and 4 large beach fronts. The beach which i like the most is the one facing Sharjah Skyline because its the nearest from the gate and tend to be more exclusive. The park has a small arcade with video games for children and teens and a food court which serves great burgers and finger foods. There are also spaces where you can grill and have a picnic. Mamzar Beach Park will surely be a good place for any age who loves the sun, beach and the outdoors.
