“Certainly not worth the money”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

Stayed here for a all to brief overnight stay whilst transiting from Dubai to Bahrain.
Was met at the gate by the friendly concierge who then assisted with the check in and assisted with transferring my bags from BA to Gulf Air ready for my flight in the morning. By the time all this had been completed it was almost 01:15 (The flight was a little late arriving into DXB)
I had to get up at 06:30 to ensure my bags had been put onto the flight. So I had a total of around 5 hours in the room all for the princely sum of 880AED = £150, plus £50 for the bag transfer so definitely not worth it.
The rooms are spacious with all the expected amenities, but situated next to the tarmac quite loud and difficult to get to sleep especially with DXB being a 24 hour airport.
Next time i'll use the snoozecube or take a taxi to the HIE.

Good hotel for a short stopover in Dubai. Had trouble finding the hotel after arriving from Africa. All Emirates' Africa gates are bussed in from the tarmacs. When making the reservation, we were warned not to go outside of security. We were told that there would be an agent from the hotel at the gate. There were two exits from the 'bus arrival' gate... one to baggage claim and the other to the Transfer gates. We were 'transfer' Business Class passengers with an all night stopover so we elected not to try the 'baggage claim'. Finally found the hotel, after asking many times which way to go. Staff was friendly, lobby of hotel is pretty sterile. Room was clean and quiet. There was a dish of fruit covered with plastic. Wake up call was prompt. Thought it was pretty pricey.

This is a great hotel right in the heart of airport shopping. They have smoking and non-smoking rooms that are very clean and useful for a quick shower and a nap before traveling onward. Just remember not to leave the airport security as the hotel is inside the security perimeter. You can check your bags through or use the marhaba baggage service to make the transfer.

I highly recommend this hotel, it is so much easier than traveling out of the airport and the having to come back the next day for your flight.

We stayed there at the end of October for an eight-hour layover. It was a welcome respite from the busy airport. The room was clean, a good size, comfortable and quiet. It had all the toiletries one needs and the hotel also provided robes and slippers. One of the things we loved most in the room was the massage chair which helped so much in soothing our aches and pains. It provides free wifi. The hotel is a great alternative, albeit pricey, to the airport lounge and there is no need to go through immigration.

We booked the Executive Room which came with a buffet breakfast and snacks throughout our stay. If there is one thing I would fault, it is the service staff in the dining area. Although they were polite, we weren't given any special attention, i.e. we weren't offered any drinks, and we weren't informed there was a small menu for hot food choices. We had to get their attention first to ask for something hot to drink (The place was empty except for the two of us but we seemed invisible to them.) It was the same with asking for cold water. We also had to ask the wait staff about the menu. It was disappointing as we expected the service to be better. After the food came (we were informed of the 15-minute wait), the pancake served was actually burnt. We didn't bother to ask for another one as we had waited for it for more than 15 minutes.

Overall, our stay was very comfortable. Perhaps next time, we might just book a room without the meals.

I was overnight in transit at Dubai Airport on a journey from Gambia to South Sudan. Although it was a short stay I cannot fault this excellent hotel in an way. Apart from all the extras generously provided in the superb and superbly furnished room there was also a massage chair. Very welcome after so many hours flying! Only one observation. This was my first visit to the massive Dubai Airport and the hotel is not well signposted from transit arrivals. I got quite lost until I discovered the hotel on the 5th floor after a number of misdirections by airport staff.
All in all this will be my transit choice for the future as I will be passing through Dubai regularly.

Just tried this hotel to spend the night between two flights. What a crappy hotel. Beds make me think I am in a youth hostel, wifi only has good coverage in the hallways. What a disappointment. Next time I'd rather sleep in a chair. Never again.
