My husband and I stayed there a few weeks ago and were extremely impressed by the level of service, cleanliness, comfort (wonderful king bed!) and interesting atmosphere of the Ahmedia. We were picked up at the airport promptly. Their breakfast, which is included, is magnificent. We could not believe how excellent this experience was for the very reasonable price that we paid.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the main building - not that the others are not OK.

We decided to stay at this guesthouse after seaching high and low for an affordable accommodation to stay in Dubai during our short trip there. The reviews by other guests have helped us a lot in deciding. They are almost if not all accurate. The overall atmosphere of the guesthouse is warm, cozy and welcoming. Entering the unassuming doorway towards the reception desk, a nicely decorated courtyard immediately captured our attention. It is warmly lit up by traditional looking lanterns. There are tables and chairs to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee or even a full meal available to order until late. Check in was a breeze. We were welcomed and shown to our room professionally. The room, even with two queen (maybe king) sized beds to accommodate the three of us (mother with two young adult kids), still has ample space for us to move around. It is simple and clean. Being a heritage property, the dated furniture blends in well. The tiled floor can be a little cold during the cold months if you're barefooted. The beds, yes they're a little hard but are still comfortable for a good night sleep. The bathroom is very clean with all the necessary amenities. One thing that can be distracting is the sound of people talking on the street next to the windows which can be heard quite clearly. But this only occured maybe once or twice in the morning when people are busy to start their day. The rest of the day is just peace and quiet. Everything else about this guesthouse has already been said by other reviewers ie it's location, access to public transportation etc are all accurate. We made the right decision to stay here. In fact we extended an additional day there. The two ladies (one is Alena) running the place like their own homes, I salute you! Thank you for your warm hospitality and humbleness. I left Ahmedia Heritage Guesthouse with lots of wonderful memories.

If you want to see and feel the old Dubai this is the place. Excellent staff and service.......quaint clean rooms. If staying in Dubai again this is where we would stay, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is was a great place to stay in the heart of the Deira in Dubai. Very close to the souks, creek and metro station. Having stayed in the Deira before we found it very hard to find somewhere quiet. This place was ideal, it is set back from the road and so there is no noise at night. The mosque next door has the call to prayer early in the morning, but this happens no matter where you are staying in the middle east. Rooms are large and clean and tidy, bathrooms a little tired but clean. Staff friendly and excellent breakfast. Excellent value for money in Dubai. The only down side was the bed was fairly hard.

This is a very pleasent place to stay. Small hotel with large rooms. The staff is great, especially the young lady that makes breakfast and stays the day. The breakfest is small, but nice. Several cereal choices, three hot dishes, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast and danishes, juice, coffee and tea. This has an Arabian feel to it with the neighborhood and the Mosque right door. You will hear prayers being called five times a day and when you walk around, you will smell spices. The only down side was the beds are so hard they are almost uncomfortabel. But everything is so great, I still gave this place a five stare.

Room Tip: Room 103 was right by the terrace. But this place is small, so it didn't really matter.
