The property is conveniently located near the Deira shopping centre. The hotel was clean and its features were modern with a tasteful décor. The in-house restaurant was reasonably-priced and the vegetarian biriyani gets top marks! The free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

Where I was disappointed was in the area of front-desk service. The two male associates we dealt with were very apathetic and clearly showed that they did not care. When we asked one of them if he could suggest a sightseeing tour, he abruptly said "no sightseeing tours in Dubai. Where you want to go?" and responded further with a glare as if he thought the request was ridiculous. I explained to him that I had stayed in hotels around the world and that this was a standard inquiry made of front desk staff. Shortly after, a female front desk employee arrived and was of excellent help. She saw that we were frustrated with the earlier employee and behaved far more professionally. She offered suggestions and information that were helpful and because of her, we enjoyed a great day of touring.

Hotel is in a great location within walking distance from Metro & Deira Shopping Mall which has a big food court, restaurants and huge Carrifore supermarket. Metro station is very easy to navigate around and can bring you to all the tourist spots in Dubai. Staff in the hotel are lovely and friendly and very helpful. We have a problem with our air conditions twice in the space of our stay and we reported it to the man on reception and each time they were straight on to it and had it fixed. We did not eat in the hotel so can not comment on the food. The hotel is spotless and rooms are cleaned every day. rooms are very big and spacious and comfortable. The only complaint I had about the stay was that the pool did not open until 2pm - 9pm, it had a sign to say about pool not opening until 2pm because of Ramadan but I am not quite sure what Ramadan has to do with the pool not opening until 2pm every day. As far as I was aware Ramadan was about fasting etc from sun up to sun down so opening the pool at 2 didnt make sense to us. I just think they were bothered opening the pool because there was not many guests in the hotel so not much demand, however we were a party of 11 people with 3 kids so we all had a demand for the pool. I assume these opening hours for the pool are not all the time as the sign only said during Ramadan. That was my only complaint about the hotel as it was over 40degrees when we were there so the pool would have been much appreciated, but over all everything else about our stay was great.
