“Nice Rooms, Noisy Hotel”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

Stayed here during the New years, The rooms offered were were nice and comfortable and the hotel itself was nice.
The reception sitting area looked a little shabby and can be re done,
The staff was excellent and the always willing to help. There was an Indian/Pakistani boy at the reception (evening shifts) who was excellent and stood above the rest.
There was a lot of noise due to the night club when you are sitting in the reception area, but our rooms were on the higher floors, so we were not affected by that.
The rooftop restaurant was a big dud and needs big working on. The staff was least interested in the restaurant
The breakfast was ok and repetitive Not much choice for vegetarians. ,

I arrived at the hotel at about 13:00 hrs. I was greeted with some juice, which led me to believe this was going to be a pleasant experience; however, it took over 2.5 hrs to get my room. Subsequently, the front desk proceeded to keep my passport against my objection. Since I had booked online and could not cancel my reservation without some penalties, I decided to just check in and get some rest. When I went in my room, I was disappointed to see that the king size bed was nothing but to individual beds put together; I called the front desk to complain and I was told that was a king size bed. Overall, not a pleasant experience overall.

Room Tip: higher rooms have less noise from the clubs

Hotel itself was average..slow check in..friendly staff behind the desk, Even gave me WIFI free although its charged by their services-list. Breakfast was not including..paid about 5 €...good enough to have it once. Swimming pool there was..but small...gym was..but also small.
Sauna....well,well not like Finnish sauna where heat is done by throwing water to stones.
Biggest complaint come from very very noisy neighbours..and no soundproof at all from other rooms.Extreme noise started at 20 pm...lasting to 4 AM...every night...had to call reception..but no help..they could not handle those three noisy idiots.
Shuttlebus to Mamzir beac was plus...even pickup was too early back from there.

Room Tip: Dont choose a room from this hotel if you want to sleep at nights !

I stayed here for 3 nights.
Have to say the hospitality was really good.
Limited but good options in the buffet breakfast in the mornings.
The pool at the top and the sauna were a good relaxation options.

Wish to share the below points for the travelers:
1. Al-Rigga metro station is right behind this hotel.
2. Peaceful location though close to the market.
3. Various restaurants / eateries in the vicinity so you don't really need to only depend on the restaurant in the hotel.
4. There are night clubs on the ground and first floor, so make sure you get a room on the fourth floor or above, since it could get noisy on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

To summarize I would call this a very good economy option for any couples traveling to Dubai.

Room Tip: Go for a floor higher than the 3rd one since it will be quieter during the nights.

Everything was as you'd expect from a cheap hotel, except for one thing. I had a early morning flight and had laid out both shorts and jeans for the morning. I went for the shorts and forgot to pack the jeans into my already packed suitcase.

I arrived home and couldn't find them, then realised what had happened.

The hotel were nearly impossible to deal with, telling me numerous times to call back in 15 minutes or sometimes an hour time.

Eventually they said there was nothing left in the room.

Liars and thieves, beware.
