One of the few Tapas bodegas in Dubai. although it gives first an impression of a large sushi place, could be the straight lines shapes or due to the color of the wood.

Limited choices of Menu but enough, good and true to the concept with Spaniard staff at your service. The DJ is out of place really, his dancing music are better off somewhere else with a dancing floor. People seem to smoke everywhere, no specific nonsmoking area was offered to us . Overall is good.

Located in the Kempinski hotel by the Mall of the Emirates this restaurant serves a variety of Spanish food (tapas and typical dishes). they serve good drinks too, try sangria!
we celebrated Valentine's day and they brought a tiny cake shaped like a heart.
the music was entirely Spanish. there was a DJ in the room who played flamenco and contemporary music.
Most of the waiters speak Spanish and they are very kind. the restaurant manager approaches to the tables to say hi and ask about the service.

We went on a Thursday in April, and it was packed, recommend booking before, the staff very friendly, food is good, but maybe the portions are small. The wine list is well maintained, perhaps a bit pricey. And the best atmosphere and dj music, a true pleasure.

We visited from outside the hotel and decided tapas might be fun and different after a trip around Thailand. The staff were welcoming and the good recorded music was followed by a live jazz act with a flamenco dancer. We were shocked by the wine list which started at the equivalent of about £60 and after we were advised of some lines being out of stock left us with a recommendation which cost over £90 for effectively the house wine - we noted other tables consuming the same wine. Having said that, we ate very well and substantially (with delicious bread) trying various tapas for about £30 on the food side of the bill.
A strange experience but we enjoyed it a lot. Five stars for teetotallers.

dined here on two occasions while staying at Kempinski. on both occasions food and service was great, with a flamenco dancer entertaining the patrons on one of the evenings. there is an extended happy hour available during certain times and is great for a couple of good deals. I sat once at the counter as well which was great to watch the chefs in action. menu perhaps a bit limited nothing really out of the ordinary but to their credit, what they do, they do well.paella was good and enjoyed the lamb dish tapas. thankfully they have smoking section that is not tucked away or behind a glass panel like so many other places which was enough reason for me to return.
