I would recommend the desert night with Arabian Adventures. We were treated like 'VIP's' with Zaheer, who was an excellent driver/leader. It was a treat!

We had gone only to one trip with Arabian Adventures-Sundowner.
Sundowner is what we know as the Desert Safari Tour.
We booked this tour 1 day in advance. The operator who helped us to book the tour was very kind and helpful.
The tour included :- 1) Folconry Show-Excellent
2) The dune ride- Really thrilling. The guide/driver (the driver is the guide) has to be an expert enough to drive over such dunes.
3) The Beduine Village- It's beautifully decorated with Shisha, Cocktail Parlor and Souvenir shows. We have got a beautiful sand-bottle art inscribing our names (though it was costly).
4) We loved the belly dancing part
5) The dinner was satisfactory. After belly dancing they put off the lights of the whole village and it's really amazing to stare up at the starry sky. But now you have to hurry to your car as is told by your guide because there will be a long queue in the exit of the Conservation Area. This is genuine and we found no fault in part of our guide. The Conservation Area have to improve in this part.

The WORST part now is the attitude of the guide. While in the car you have to change seats between co passengers so that every one gets a fair chance of enjoying the desert from every possible angles. Now let me tell you the dune ride is best seen from the front seat. We were 3 and none of us got the chance to seat in the front seat at any point of the tour. Now when one of my friend tried to politely say it to our guide at the return journey, when our guide was chatting with another guide, he just barked to us, "I am not talking to you. Whoever I say must seat in the seat" . Please Arabian Adventures teach some manners to your guides.

This was a fantastic arvo. They pick you up from the hotel. The sand duning was exciting & thrilling, altjough if prone to car sickness take something prior.
Driver was fantastic. Desert camp was great, along with food.
Overall highly recommend it & great value

We (2 adults, 2 children aged 9 and 13) did the City of Merchants Tour with Arabian Adventures.
I am really glad that we did this as a tour, the alternative was seeing all the sights independently via taxis but in the heat (high 40 degrees when we were there!) which would have been exhausting. The guide's commentary was interesting and informative (including for the children).
The tour covered: brief stop to photograph the Burj-al-Arab, Jumeirah Mosque, Dubai Museum, Bastikya district, crossing the creek on a traditional boat, spice and gold souks.
In terms of cost, the price of this tour is not, I suspect, much more than it would have cost us to do it independently (taxis and entrance fees).

This adventure is well organized but not what I was hoping for. You do get a good overall look at arabian themes but i would suggest that you take one at a time. There were too many people. The dune drive was fun but you need to wait for all the cars and all the people to finish. I was under the impression that the camel ride was from the end of the dune ride, into the dessert to the oassis (dinner) it was actually a ride in a little circle that you lined up for while you waited for dinner. Dinner was ok and the entertainment was just ok as well. Much more worthwhile to see the belly dancing in a restaurant or club that specializes in it.
