“Brilliant place to escape the heat ;)”
Reviewed June 17, 2014 via mobile

Each time I visit Dubai I can never resist a visit a here.

This place is really one for families, but is suited to all types of visitors. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. No issues in terms of service.

The ski slope is good fun but after an hour or so can get a bit repetitive and other activities been quite expensive such as the apres bar.

The prices for the skiing are in line with prices charged in the UK at real snow centres and couldn't really complain at the price.

The penguin encounter was the best part of my visit, however the actual time we got to spend with the penguins wasn't really a lot. The proffessional photos were great I had done, having been told before hand that we couldn't take iPhones in, I did think it was very unfair that other locals could take theirs and were free to take pictures on there own devices without having to pay nearly £20 for one photo! Been my only criticism.

Now I've done all activities in ski dubai I don't think I'll bother again. Once you've seen it, you've seen it. The pictures make the best memories and abit unfair now I wasn't aloud to take my Iphone.

“Great Experience. Worth the price..Must go place for kids”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

I visited SkiDubai along with my cousins. They enjoyed it to the max. I would not suggest this place for a people over 40 years of age. But otherwise an must go place for kids. Its amazing to how much kids enjoy this. Penguins in this place is a feather on their cap.

You should expect the place to be extremely cold.. so please take proper clothing. They provide you overcoats, but I would suggest you to be take additional personal clothing. They serve hot coffee and chocolate beverages which is very good when you are in the coldest possible place.

Plan atleast 3 hours time for visiting this place. Call them up to find out the timing of the penguin show.. plan your visit accordingly.

“Interesting to see but an hour of skiing is enough”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

It's great to name Dubai as one of the places you've skied just to say you've done it. It was interesting to see because of all the different cultures and people there (the slopes were empty but the chair lifts were full because most arabs do not know how to ski and they go to watch us from the lift) It was definitely COLD, but it was a freezer type cold not a natural cold. The slope was not big but it was enjoyable for what it was. An hour or two is definitely enough. I would not purchase an all day pass just to ski or snowboard. They also give you everything you need aside from gloves and hats.
