Yesterday we visited Riviera Hotel Deira to see our friend who is staying there. He has come all the way from Netherlands (Holland) to visit Dubai. And we were very happy to see the reception area. hats off to the lovely view of Dubai Creek from here and the warm and cozy reception area.
Well located near Deira Creek. Staff at this hotel are very fantastic and friendly. They make you feel you are home. Short walking distance to the spice and old souks which i visited. Really, i don't see what can make one to complain! Everything in the room is very clean here. Breakfast is served as a buffet. Full of all sort of foods from one to choose from. Tasty, healthy and well display foods. Plenty of juices and fruits.
All personnel here are amazing (from the doorman, the cleaner, the driver, the people serving in the restaurant, up to the receptionist and manager).
I cannot hesitate to recommend Riviera Hotel.

This hotel is situated overlooking Dubai Creek. This means you are in the old part of Dubai where there are Souks, narrow lanes and much hustle and bustle of local life. The metro station is only 5 minutes away, so you can easily visit the rest of Dubai from here. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a wide choice and was constantly refreshed. The staff in the restaurant - indeed the whole hotel - were always attentive and friendly. We arrived at Dubai Airport at 1.15 am, but the hotel shuttle was waiting for us and at a very reasonable price. If you are staying for a short break and do not want to be surrounded by high rise, this is the hotel for you.

This hotel was built in 1963 is was the first hotel on the eastern side of Dubai Creek and its on the Creek great position close to the Gold ,spice,and old souks, the service was impeccable,the rooms, food,same couldn’t fault the place , from doorman to manager
