“Budget...”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Stayed their for 4 days...i am quite satisfied with the hotel. receptionist looked rude..but you will realised that her face is natural that way..she is not ..

Rooms are small... but no problem with that...tv showing world news and Indian channels..bathrooms have bathtubs..cleaning and turn down service was on time daily..lifts were fasts..

Breakfast was on M floor...breakfast was basic with Indian curry daily..that is annoying even to Indian like me..thankfully there were some eggs and chicken offered..

Hotel location was good..there was a supermarket nearby..you can buy simcard their.. meena bazzar.was 15 min.walking...buy electronic from their..bus stop was just adjecent to hotel..saw a bus to dubai mall..

Pub at ground floor..you can hear some beats to your room if you are unlucky..if you are short of budget. Stay here..you won't regret...

our family of 3 landed there on 29-12-2012 for a 7 nights stay to see dubai extensively, the first night itself my family was not satisfied neither was i because the triple sharing room was smelling stale due to a previous guest who had soiled the carpet, the bathroom being the main culprit the shower near the commode was not working, then when i complained i was told there are no other rooms available, which was hard to fathom, the hotel didnt look like it was full, but who knows what the hotel lobby managers were upto, any how i was told that they would accomodate me in another V. good room tommorrow, which was possible only next day around 2-30 pm, in new room was comfortable finally till checkout on 5-01-2013 at 12.45 am. In those other days managed to see the place DUBAI and also shop a little bit.

Room Tip: Rooms are fairly comfortable, location is very good, basically on the main road, but not so on the back...

Just recently got back from a 6 night stay in the Parorama Grand. The staff were rude at times, the breakfasts were horrible unless you want to eat curry at 8 in the morning. The sheets were stained and the rooms were quite small. There were bugs in the bathroom in the evenings which appeared to live in the walls. After some mallicious mopping, the cleaner unplugged the TV and we had to call downstairs twice to get it fixed. This was a common occurance: whenever we needed help with anything or something needed doing, we had to ask twice and the staff feigned ignorance saying that they knew nothing about the request we had recently made. The hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the metro which is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend going on the desert safari half day, it was great fun! Also, make sure that you pre-book in plenty of time for the Burj Kalifa or it will cost you about £80 to get up there on the day.
If you have a love for amazing food, make sure you book the Friday brunch at the Madinat Jumeriah, its probably the best meal I have ever eaten in my life.

Our Flight arrived at Dubai International Airport at 9.50 pm on Dec.27th.Due to the delays at the Passport Control Section we had to leave around 11.30 pm and booked in at the Hotel around Mid Night on Dec.27th.Daisy the Receptionist was on duty.Although our Travel Agent in Colombo had booked the Hotel through Arabian Oryx Travels & Tours LLC, 04 days back,we were kept waiting for about one hour to get our room ready. The room was clean with double bed and the other basic requisites for a 3* hotel.
However, as advertised by the Hotel we did not have the facility of a iron, bed room slippers or coffee / tea in the room. We were provided with 02 small bottles of mineral water complimentory for our 03 days stay. When we questioned the authorities on missing listed items the reply was that they had agreed with our local travel agent on the price he paid. This situ is very tricky. The buffet breakfast was not bad but certainly should improve. The hotel staff manning the Front Office was not customer friendly. They should be more polite when handling hotel guests.

I visited Dubai in Mar 2012 with my husband. We got this accomodation through Cox & Kings. We got a so called suite which was shabby and retiring. The sofas had stain. Bathroom is basic and OK with a big tub. There was a huge school group and we could all noises from our room which was very disturbing. Inspite of telling the front desk they really didnt bother to sort out. This is a substandard hotel with dirty rooms.
Coming to location....yes it is average with some cheap local stores around. If you want can take the metro which is a 20 minute walk.
The food is horrible... specially the breakfast was terrible and the staff was very rude specially the Lady restaurant manager. We couldnt eat anything except the cereals. They serve a lot of Indian food which is very bad. Fruits were limited and same cakes everyday.
My advise would be please dont book this hotel... and if booking is done through any tour operators please verify about this. Normally, lot of Indian group tours are made to stay here. This creates a lot of noise and chaos in the hotel.

Room Tip: Try and take the suite in the corner... they have a descent view of the Khaleed road
