“a gem in the desert”
Review of Zabeel Park

Zabeel Park
Ranked #69 of 426 things to do in Dubai
Certificate of Excellence
Attraction details
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Forget the skyscapers, and airconditioned shopping malls, Dubai has a very green park, Zabeel, which covers acres and has erratic opening of attractions like train and boats, and pay to ride activities but this is real British grass not Florida bahia grass, magnificent topiary, beds of marigolds, frangi panni trees, lots of playgrounds, all for 5AED each. Spend the day, bring a picnic, the food offerings are erratic, but loos are excellent. Many staff!

This place is crowded at nights in this season, specially on weekends. It has a jogging track all around on which the interlocked blocks are a little softer than normal blocks.

There is an entry of AED 5 per person and if you want to use the barbeque spots, it is on first come fist serve basis. There are shaded areas all around the park which are awesome for a barbeque. The weather now is not too hot so expect it to be crowded. The park is well maintained. From where we spent our time we could see a lot of buildings towards the Burj Khalifa and they were very colourful.
Well maintained park.

Well manicured lawns with beautiful patches of colorful flowers. In good weather, you can easily spend about 2-3 hours here. We saw a lot of families having a good time ..some were celebrating a kid's birthday..others were playing cards and had brought food from home.
