My daughter tried this restaurant during her school trip & suggested we have a try....
At first glance, it look big but old (from outside), so I really hesitated... When we were inside, the place actually look quite decent ! its simple but its neat and tidy.
The menu comes in English, Chinese and Pictures which is of some help especially if one has never tried China Chinese food before.
We ordered duck, maps tofu, soft fried prawn, chicken fried rice, seafood fried rice and dumplings.
The portion came quite big!
This is the first time I have seen in Dubai where a Peking Duck dish actually look like a Peking Duck and served like a Peking Duck!
The Mapo tofu usually serves spicy but I have requested them not to put chilies as my kids couldn't eat spicy food and they complied without any fuss.
I was a little reluctant to change the deep fried prawn (not available on the day) to soft fried prawn but after the first bite, I have no regrets.....
All the dishes I ordered were authentic and delicious!
One other good thing is that there is quite a number of car park available just adjacent to the restaurant.
The only down side I experience is that they do not accept credit card, only cash..... But then the price is very reasonable so I guess it really doesn't matter.
We will be back next week to try more of the dumplings.....
