“Good place, reliable wifi, next to metro station!”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Stayed here during a recent business visit. The best part was this place is right opposite the metro station so makes commute very easy. The rooms were great... very spacious and clean. Bathrooms were also good. Wifi worked fine, no issues at all and was happy that multiple devices could connect at the same time. Only disadvantage is not many good food places/restaurants, but quite a few deliver and Mall of Emirates is 5-minute walk, so that's not an issue. Overall would recommend the place.

I stayed in Pride Hotel one-bedroom apartment with my family in April 2013 and found this hotel a nice place with good value for money. Following are my views about the property.

Positives: 1) It is quite new hotel so you get brand new furniture, linen and machines/appliance.
2) It is just one minute walk away from Sharaf DG metro station, and a metro stop from Mall of the Emirates, 3) The rooms are spacious with a sofa large enough to sleep one adult, 4) Free Wi-Fi and parking, 5) Very friendly staff.

Negatives: 1) The hotel seemed to be opened in a hurry as the Gym, Swimming pool, in-house restaurant are incomplete (till April 2013), although management assured that all would be ready in couple of weeks, 2) Since it is on the Sheikh Zayed Road and next to a Metro stn, the rooms are a bit noisy, 3) Decoration work in the lobby still continuing making it noisy and inconvenient for the guests (not big problem but somewhat).

Room Tip: To avoid traffic noise it's advisable to ask for room at the back of hotel. Also, if you are ord...

This Apartment Hotel fails to deliver the most basic things you need in an apartment: it is incredibly noisy and the kitchen is not equipped:
- The windows are of very low quality and do not seal at all. You can hear the traffic on the road and the metro station cooling system all night long. And we stayed in a room at the back of the hotel.
- The kitchen is not fully equipped: there is no stove or cooker only an individual cooking plate. We asked for a second one in order to cook a meal and were refused by a very rude receptionist. He even tried to explain that the tourism authority does not allow two cooking plates!
- There is not toaster. If you want to prepare a toast for breakfast you must warm it in the microwave!
- The kitchen includes only two of each: 2 dishes, 2 spoons, 2 forks and 2 knives. If you actually intend to cook then bring your own cutlery!
- The first room we stayed in smelled of cigarette.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back side are further away from the metro station cooling system but are still terribly...

Stayed in Dec 2012, this hotel is quite new. So new that it didn't even have any food & beverage outlets yet. So did pool & gym.. Looks like it was pushed to open before its ready.
Room was good, the idea of individual internet modem in each room was great, just unfortunate that the speed was 'low'.
Mini kitchen has microwave, induction cooker, fridge, and washing machine as well. But before you washed your cloths, note that normal hangers wasn't available, the 5 pcs of hangers provided was built in inside the wardrobe and can't be used without a clip attached inside the wardrobe.
Kind of frustrating if you plan to stay for a long period but it definitely good choice for a short stay. Imagine if you have to go out for a meal or even small snacks as there's no restaurant, room service, or mini bar.
For a backpackers, this is a good choice because Metro station is right in front of the hotel. With metro, you'll have the best option to travels around Dubai - in a very good price. Mall of Emirates is also just 10 mins walking distance.
Overall: Good room, decent service, but without food & beverage outlets, it becomes average - not so great hotel.

I stay in Pride on two different occassions in total about ten nights in April 2013. I booked via Booking.com. I booked a studio but was upgraded free of charged to a one bed aparment which was lovely.
Good point about this hotels: It opposite Opposite Sharaf DG Metro Station and 10minute walk to Mall of Emirates. it cost 4.80 dirhams from the airport to hotel via metro(train) and takes about 45mins. The hotel is very clean and nearly built, It had a washing machine, microwave, kettle, hot plate

Bad points: The TV has over 200 channels but only 3 in english, short staff but when they can help they will. The gym is not operation and no pool, no restaurant but they give you lots of take away menu which delivered free of charge

Went to dubai with group of friends for the New Years. Made the booking though an agent. Check-in was extremely slow, felt like I was there do the paperwork to buy an apartment. Anyways they didn't have the booking of rooms as per our request. So we had to settle in with what was available for 2 nights and than they provided us an apartment on the 3rd day. Apartments were pretty new and clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were decent. Housekeeping was good, just we had keep them calling for small things. No restaurant, no gym. But you can order from restaurants near the hotel, who will deliver the food to your apartment. Location is right on sheikh zayed service road and 2 mins walk to dg sharaf metro station. 1 stop away from emirates mall. Walking to emirates mall might take a good 15-20 mins. We were in dubai during high season and stayed there because we got a good deal. Wifi was slow. Won't come back.
