I rented a two bedroom apartment. What a wonderful experience. Well decorated, very spacious, well equipped kitchen, excellent room service, excellent customer service. Easy access to other parts of city through two main highways and yet in a very calm place. Highly recommended. I had my own car so I didn't find it far from anything. Perhaps taking cabs would be expensive

I feel bad not rating this hotel higher as the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel was good value and very spacious. It was also mainly very clean.
However, we thought it was cheaply furnished with a lot of the furniture in our apartment having peeling laminate. Our presidential suite was massive but could have benefited from some additional furniture or ornaments. Some of the finishes particularly the tiling in the main bathroom looked rushed. The oven which looked clean, smelt mouldy and i was nearly sick when i opened the door.
Our biggest issue was of location though, the hotel is at the edge of the dessert there is virtually nothing close and the city is at least a 20 minute drive. The hotel runs a shuttle bus but it only goes to the malls and only runs twice a day. So you are limited to taxis most of the time.
We probably would not stay again seeking something within the city.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and did not sag in the middle (yippee). Ample covered and open parking is available. We did not eat at the hotel. However, the menu was extensive and prices seemed very reasonable. Also, there's a pizza joint and a pharmacy on the ground floor. Supermarket on the ground floor was well stocked and had enough and more stuff to meet all requirements.
Toiletries were of sub-standard quality which was surprising given the overall quality of the facility. Next time, we carry our own! Artwork in the hotel was quite garish for our taste. If we had to stay longer we would have asked all pictures to be taken away. Dubailand is an area under development and so associated disadvantages exist. Some amount of planning would be required to move around without own transport. Consider commute cost if you are staying long.

+ room is big, quit area, at the same building of the apartment are supermarket, pharmacy, and Pizza restaurant, cars parking, friendly staff, close to Globle Village, Dragone Maket, and Emarates mall
- small number of TV channels, no enough dishes on the kitchen, also you have to pay soap and sponge to clean dishes, water is not hot in order that the apartment has one central heater, Also they are not providing any extra bed.

عدد محدود من القنوات الفضائية، عدد قليل من الاطباق والصحون، عليك ان تشتري صابون واسفنجة لغسيل الصحون، الماء ليس حار بالدرجة المطلوبة، ايضا لا يوفر سرير اضافي

Spent the weekend in Dubai to visit global village. Glad we found Abidos, because for us it ticked all the boxes. The family apartment was massive, plenty of room for the kids to run around and close to global village. The hotel has everything you need and more and the buffet breakfast is beautiful. Highly recommend, if you have your own car to get around because there's not much around other than the supermarket and pharmacy downstairs.
