“Great in so many ways”
Review of Safa Park

Safa Park
Ranked #123 of 426 things to do in Dubai
Attraction details
Reviewed November 28, 2012

I lived in Dubai for nearly 3 years and didn't get to fully appreciate the best of Safa Park until my last few months. The park is huge and offers plenty space for everyone who visits. Its the one place that allows you to get-away from it all within this great city. Every weekend people visit this park (its most busiest time), for BBQ's , frizzby, walks, just hanging out etc etc. Its simply enjoys a great atmosphere and the gardens/lawns are beautifully kept throughout the year. There is a cafe their that offer snacks and local delights as well as the typical fast food burger place. Safa park has a running track that follows the complete circuit of the park and must be at least 1 mile in length if not more. There are also water features and a lake with small pedal boats to hire.
Generally, its just a great park to spend your time and forget where you are when you need it.

It was lovely to be in an outdoor green space here, very clean and safe. Adults and children have to pay = 3Dirhams so really cheap. I think babies got in for free but I dont remember what the sign said. There were areas where people were playing football and there were a few childrens play areas with climbing frames, slides and swings etc. Some people were on a pedalo in the lake and there was a camel ride going on when we were there. Paths were perfect and buggy/wheelchair friendly and there was also a small train which took people for a drive around the park if walking was too much.
