Really relaxing and pleasurable hour spent in cruise on Dhow in Dubai Creek. Calm, serene, traditional setup with modern skyscrappers forming the backdrop. Interesting to see traditional boats/ships ferrying people and goods in ultra modern Dubai landscape.

We arrived and fell in love with this vibrant place ,we used the water taxi to get around and visited the spice souk, the gold souk, the old souk and the Dubai museum using this very cheap water taxi to its best. The atmosphere was great compared to the downtown high roller experience with big towers and flashy food, not saying I don't like this as well. This area needs to be kept up to spec to show people what Dubai was really like less than 50 years a go. A great heritage location to the fast life in Dubai.

We took the water taxi called an Abra for 1 dirham across the Creek from close to the Spice market and had our lunch in one of the restaurants. It was like something from hundreds of years ago (except they probably upgraded the engine) and its a lovely way to experience what the original old Dubai was like. Loved it.

Took a boat trip around the creek. It was the same things that Dubai is famed for. More tall buildings of corporate companies and hotels. Did see the trade boats.
