“Try a cabana”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

If you're in a group of ....say more than 5 people then book a cabana. It is really worth the extra dirhams. Excellent private space and service from attentive staff all day. Sun loungers and beds and hammocks cater for around 8 people in sun or shade. Plenty of cold water on hand, and beautiful cold fruit comes as part of the price. Security lockers on your patch for your possessions while you have a splash about.

“Enjoyable but busy”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

We visited Wild Wadi three times in the space of a week. The kids loved it and there is enough to keep them occupied for hours on end. The lifeguards are very alert and friendly, particularly on the ride where you get blasted up by powerful water jets. I would echo comments about safety that other posters have mentioned. I was on a double slide behind my son's and we came off the top of one slide at high speed. His float had not moved out of the way and we hit his with some force. The lifeguards looked a little overwhelmed as though too many people were on the ride. My tip would be to ask them to hold you back a bit and put more space between floats. It wasn't major enough for us to report it. I liked the cashless system and the changing rooms are okay. We'd come back and I'd recommend it as somewhere to go in Dubai. Bring plenty of sunscreen though!

“Waterpark”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

It's always best go visit wild wadi early in the morning, when they first open at 10am. The lines are shorter and it is much more pleasant. I visit this waterpark quite frequently and always have a good time. A fun park to visit.

“The original and still the best !”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

This was the original and in my view is still the best water park in Dubai. It has been up dated over the years."Jumeirah Sceirah" is not for the light hearted but exhilarating.Entry price (for Dubai) is not that unreasonable for a family, but if you are staying at a jumeirah hotel, depending on what packae you are on, entry will be free any way.Well worth a visit.

“Enjoyable way to escape the heat”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Others have told me the Atlantis waterpark is more impressive, but for people who enjoy but aren't obsessed with waterparks the Wild Wadi was just the right size for us. We don't like our rides too scary and we liked the winding river layout.

We rented a cabana which was expensive but worth it, with our own stocked fridge and food service. Good service, food was ok, better than at some other parks we've been too. The day we were there the park wasn't that crowded, but on a busy day we would have appreciated this even more. Well stocked shop.

Many women dress conservatively here, so I would recommend women wear a rash shirt and board shorts rather than a bikini (also good for avoiding sunburn!).
