Highly overpriced at 235 AED, Wild Wadi is for those who have either grown tired of the sea or cannot go to the shores during the summer months. Go there if you have kids in your family coz most of the rides are meant for them. Pleasant surprises were Jumeriah Scleriah and Tantrum Alley. Check these out if you happen to visit.

We were staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, so access to this park was complimentary to our family. Otherwise it is about £45 per person to get in. We went here every day apart from one during our week stay and really enjoyed the rides repeatedly. There aren't a ton of them, but our feeling was that there was more variety on offer than at Atlantis - we went there one morning and, quite frankly, found it a bit boring (on paper more rides, but all seemed the same). It was also a bit large, sizewise, and not as compact as Wild Wadi.

We had a great time here. Lots to do and so much fun. Plan to go for the day and don't waste your time hiring a towel like we did. It's so hot you don't need it. Also where cheap jandals it's so hot you don't want to walk around barefoot.

i took a trip to wild wadi with my younger son earlier on this year while he was on a visit here, this park is set in one the most desirable scenic areas around. we went to the kiosk and were dealt with immediately and no fuss, the assistant asked if we wanted to load our tag with some money if we wanted to eat or drink in the park, (any amount can be exchanged for cash when you leave the park) upon entry we went to the changing rooms which we clean and comfortable. the first ride was the one my son had been talking about for a long time, the big one! so i went up the steps towards the starting point, upon arrival we were asked if we had any sharp buttons or toggles on our trunks. then i was asked to remove a gold chain i wear all the time, this is not considered suitable for the ride? entry to the platform had my heart beating in anticipation of what was about to happen, the thing that made it worse was some of the people that were at the top refused to go down the slide because of its height! so they had to walk embarrassed past the whole line of people waiting. i wasn't going to let this happen to me! so after a deep breath i walked into the loading capsule which was closed around me. there is a countdown to its release then the trap door collapses at your feet and you are on your way. the whole thing only lasts for about 8 seconds but feels a hell of a lot longer! i reached the bottom pit of water that slows you down and skimmed across the top of the water and slowed down to a halt, it was then that i took my second breath of the whole ride. oh and finally opened my eyes for the first time since the top! this is a spectacular ride but not one for the faint heart! there are many other rides in this park that are equally as much fun and i enjoyed most of them, even going up hill in water on a scenic tour around the outside of the park, the only one i didn't go on was the surf board i have enough trouble keeping upright on a rubber ring so a board was going to be no good to me. on the whole this park has many rides ant attractions and you will find it hard to complete all of these in one day!
