“Nice break for a couple of hours”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 5, 2011

We enjoyed visiting the park especially the first two days, when it was not crowded and we did the rides for the first time. After two days you have seen it all and it gets a bit repetitive but it is certainly worth a visit. Food was not very nice, with limited choice and not very much taste!

“Fantastic”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2011

Aquaveture is newer and a bit more fancy, but this original waterpark is in a great location next to Jumeriah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab. Also probably better for smaller children and doesn't get too busy, even on National Day.

“Great place for family!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2011

Wadi (meaning water) is great for children and child-a-like. i have to admit i enjoyed trying all the slides and all their attractions..plus with a great view of the Burj Al Arab (its perfect)...we went there last March 2011 so the weather is ok. Not too hot and not too cold (if u know what i mean, since Dubai can be ery hot during may-july)... You must take a camera that is waterproof! Pictures are worth to cherish in this place :)

“Brilliant location and a good fun way to spend the day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2011

Wild Wadi is brilliantly situated between the Burj Al Arab and Jumeriah Beach hotels so there are some fantastic photo opportunities before you even get in. We decided to spend time there on our last day in Dubai after we had checked out from the hotel.

You're given a wristband when you get there which gives you access to your locker but you can also load money onto it which you can then use for food and drink in the day.

There were about 8 rides so not that many but they are really good fun. you sit in rubber rings for most of the rides. I really liked Tantrum Alley and the Burj Surj and probably went on them about four or five times. The view of the Burj Al Arab is fantastic at the top of those rides. The queues weren't so bad on the day we went and that was also on the weekend.

I personally skipped the Jumeirah Sceirah but my boyfriend did it - it looked terrifying! it is apparently the tallest slide outside of North America. It is actually quite entertaining just watching at the bottom of the slide just to see people's reactions when they get to the bottom - can be very funny.

There are plenty of sunbeds if you fancy just taking it easy. there's also a wave pool and they provide life jackets for kids.

We spent about four hours at the park and that was probably enough - having said that we didn't eat. It's a great place to take kids (we didn't) or if you need to pass the time in the day after checking out and going off to your flight.

“Great fun!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2011

We had loads of fun there! The only drawback was the fact that it took ages to get to some of the slides.

We only had approx 3h to spend and it was enough to try most of the interesting slides and then got back to two or three that we liked the most.

There are signs and maps on every other corner so it's easy to find your way and the slides are visibly marked with the 'thrill factor', so you can try the less scary one.

When you get the pass (something that looks like a watch) make sure you have money for a locker and perhaps some AED for drinks or food if you plan to stay there longer.

I haven't try the other Dubai's water park so I have no comparison, but I can really recommend Wild Wadi - both for children and adults.
