On my last day in Dubai, I chose to visit Wafi City Mall, which locates near the airport.
So I could left my luggage at airport , then took the metro to this mall. Just a few stops away from the airport.

The mall is nothing special...very few people.....but the mall is quite nice..they put the pyramid inside the mall..I found there are 2 places of the root top are made of these beautiful pyramid..very colourful glasses.....

Also, if you went outside the mall, you will found that the whole mall are surrounded by Egyptian design...sculptures...the restaurant....the little garden....

And there was a souk inside the mall, too. The design was nice...but,I prefer the real souk much more. This one was just copied the design..the atmosphere was totally different.

This is an interesting mall with a nice Egyptian touch. It has everything from pyramids to the Sphinx to walls with hieroglyphs and Egyptian designs. Those that love anything ancient Egyptian will appreciate this mall.

Apart from the decorations however, this is like any other big mall in Dubai. Shops are aplenty and so are food options.

I only went to the mall cause my hotel ran a free shuttle service to this place and this place is terrible.
The mall has only a few shops compared to other malls in Dubai and almost all of them are high-brand outlets and that is all it has.. the mall just looks deserted.. hardly any people in there and i don't remember seeing even a single person with a shopping bag..

ps. getting a cab was a problem too and had to wait a while for the hotel shuttle to return.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in November and went to the Wafi Mall at least once a day. There were a number of reasons why we enjoyed going there. None of them had to do with shopping in the main Wafi Mall. First, it was a 10 minute walk from the Grand Hyatt hotel. The Big Bus tour had stops for both lines at the mall. We bought a two day ticket since we were there for four days. At the back of the mall was a supermarket. In the mall, which seems to be always empty there is a coffee shop which offered free internet with their laptops if you bought a drink. There was a Paul`s restaurant where you could get pastry, coffee, and light meals. In the evening there was a sound and light show against the Egyptian themed building which housed several restaurants. One evening we went to a restaurant called Carter`s in that bulding, whose patrons seemed to be mainly Westerners. We were going to order two separate meals but the waiter informed us that one of the dishes we were ordering would be enough for the two of us to share. It was enough and it was delicious. The mall had a Souk in the basement level where we were able to get very attractive souvenires at reasonable prices. If you wanted you could also get the clothes Emirates wear at reasonable prices unlike the stores in the upper floors of the mall which all seemed to be very expensive.

I went there on a bus tour , I didnt find anything to do. No shopping and a poor food court. May be its nice for whom are interested in the pharaonic decorations and old shows.
