we went to Mazina last night for iftar , located on LP level of the Marina Address hotel .
i just want to share few comments which i beleieve hotel needs to work on and improve . first we were seated in the other part of the restaurant which is at least 200 meters away from the buffet , once seated nobody informed us about the buffet location , where we had to look around trying to discover buffet place , than only after sometime managed to see that it is hidden far on the other end of the restaurant as there are many columns and rights and lefts hiding the different parts of the restaurants as if it is even two separate restaurants.
Buffet was ok , variety is good , from Arabic to chinese , japanese and other cuisines, but quality of food is just average , Lebanese Mezza were pale and dry except the spinach fatayer was good , however kebbeh , falafel and samosa all dry and tastless. one type of soup only which is Lentil , usualy during the month of Ramadan restaurants has to offer two kinds of soup. Muloukhiya very tough , dry , better not to cook it as it is not eatable ! not to mention that all under buffet counters are empty from plates and we were trying to find plates for almost 10 minutes no success until someone helped to show the hot plate warmers which are located in corners and not visibile so we could finally get plates ! in brief , staff not guiding or explaining anything and guests left to find out things by themselves which is the biggest down of the service in addition to average food.
i don't think we will come back to this place as there are many good options in town .
