It was excellent specially thge food be it Indian or Chinese. Their tour arrangement and personal / individual attention require separate mention. We would like to name the gentlemen Mr Milon Rozario, Executive Chef and Mr Madan Sharma, Asst Front Office Manager who made everything possible to make our trip success. Cheers !!!!

Just a ten minute drive from the airport, this hotel offers value for money. The staff are friendly, the restaurants are highly rated. Their major drawback however is the lobby which is extremely small. However this is clearly offset by the complimentary airport pick up and drop service, besides free internet in all rooms.

The main reason I liked this hotel was I got really good service. We had some special requirements for our stay and they were very accommodating to us. The price was nice and cheap and the rooms fine

The Marco Polo is rated 4 star & I believe that is because of the services they offer, which are very good, with number of restaurants on site, disco, pool, gym & the like. The rooms themselves are well equiped with large flat sceen TV with many English language chanels, Safe, Fridge (which even turned down fully is not that cold) large room with desk & chairs with a small table. The bathroom is of average size but needs updating or repairing. Our room (306) had most of the fittings hanging off the wall loosley as someone had made the attempt to fix them but failed. A tap was leaking & pooling on the floor when we arrived which was fixed quickly once we notified staff. The lace type curtains in the room had stains on them obviously needing a good wash. The room itself reminded me a lot of good quality Bali room. The breakfast was ample with a wide range to choose from although the covers on all the chairs were filthy & desperatly needed changing. The hotel privide a shuttle bus to the local Metro twice in the morning & to a nearby beach, yet other hotels I believe have a more extensive shuttle service to the malls etc. As Dubai is always hot it is hard to get around in comfort other than a taxi from this hotel. We used the metro which is great once you are in there but it is about 1klm walk from the hotel. Bus service is also has A/C & is good, although hard to work out, but is a much slower mode of travel due to all the stops.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic answering all our requests with a smile & effectively. No issues with any of them at all.
In all the stay was good but could have been better if the hotel provided that better shuttle service that others do. They also need to address the standard of their upkeep of the rooms. We did not try the restaurants other than the breakfast room as we were out each night.

Located in the heart of the city, this is a beautiful 4 star hotel, which truly lives up to its expectations.

The staff is warm and hospitable.

The room is amazingly clean and well maintained.

Room service is good.

They have a couple of restaurants but they are quite expensive.

On the negative side, they neither provide free airport transfers, nor do they have any free shuttles to any of the prominent locations unlike most other hotels in that area...

How ever, It is a total value for money, and I shall surely stay again / recommend this hotel to my friends.

dont know where to begin.after reading some bad reviews about this place i was sceptical about this hotel but i found this hotel simply superb.to begin with,we reached the hotel at 6.30 am and the check in time was 2pm but they immediately gave us a room,i mean so early and fast without any hesitation.and to top it they upgraded us to a superior room which was very big and even had a jacuzi in the bathroom.although the bathing area could be a little better.even when we were checking out,they gave us a late check out of 4 pm.they were very accomodating about this which most hotels are not.

there is an indian restaurant,bombay with amazing food,service and live music.it is a must visit even if u r not staying in this hotel.

the breakfast was very nice and tasty.lot of choices for vegetarians as well.the manager of the restaurant as well as other staff were very hospitable and took good care while having breakfast.there was a personal touch in everything.

i had very good sleep and did not face any loud music problem.taxis are readily available on the doorstep besides which the hotel provides free shuttle to the beach and metro station which is very convinient.on the opposite foot just a 5 mins walk are lots of indian and south indian restaurants.

to end it i would like to really appreciate the front desk reception staff who are so warm and always so helpful and smiling.i cant thank them enough for my wonderful stay.they even got me superb deals for the sand safari and guided me about shopping,transportation and about everything.

marco polo is a small hotel,defenitely not 5 star but there service bowls you away.i would like to recommend to stay here.for the price u cant get better.

This was my second stay at this Hotel as i was impressed with their services during my first stay. However, this time that charm was lacking and this stay proved to be an ordinary one.

The biggest attraction of this hotel is its restaurant the Bombay, which is really a hit due to its excellent food and great Indian music. This is a must visit for Indians who are around and are looking for a bite.

The rooms are quite average and the furniture and other stuff is not properly maintained. The services are also average as there is no proper management. However, as we were staying for 4 days in the Hotel, the Hotel did provided us with complimentary pick and drop facility from the Airport.

The rooms are quite small and not well maintained and needs some improvement and renovation. The location is also not that great and there is practically nothing which is close to the Hotel.

Overall, i will rank this Hotel as Average but give full regards to the Food and Music. You can avoid if you do not have planned transportation. But given the price you pay, it a decent accommodation.
