The ratings that Trip Advisor forces you to use, is the ONLY reason this hotel has the scores it has. You get a solid quiet room. If you are not here to have any fun, and want a place to just crash, then this is your hotel. If not...

So...how many ways does this "resort" suck? Let's count them!

1. Horrible internet. Only one device, and expensive. After you pay you enjoy the speed of dial-up IF it works at all.
2. Service. If you are willing to call the hotel manager, you may get what you want. If not, it is an endless circle of fools who could not care less.
3. Laundry. Sometimes you get it back. Sometimes...well....not.
4. Construction, lobby, pool, dining room, all gone. Welcome to Ramadan at Habtoor.
5. Outside food delivery, go outside and meet the driver. Won't even let them in the door.
6. TV. If you are Arabic, its probably okay. If you are not, you can watch the news. Or you could listen to the radio. Or watch the news some more. Or the radio.

In short, you are in DUBAI! There is soooo much better here. Don't stay here, go somewhere much, much better for same or less money.

Room Tip: Go to the Ritz next door. You will be glad you did.

Hello! Currently staying here and waiting for the day to leave this hotel ASAP.
Do not want to waste my words just facts: 2 out of 3 pools are closed for repairment, the one that is open is dangerous ... On my eyes one lady brake her back... Entire hall is closed for repairment so that reception and grand restaurant for breakfast and other meals moved to basement. And nobody made guests informed... When i approached the reception and mentioned about closed pools they sad "there is no problem. You have a big pool and entire sea", but when i was paying for 5star hotel i was paying for all those pools either. At the moment there is a noise of repairment everywhere and it starts from 8 a.m. What makes even angry is that nobody has informed about all this terrible inconveniences and still no excuses from hotel management or so. To sum up never come back to this hotel!!!

Spent just 1 night at this hotel but saw both rooms, the Tower rooms and the Pool rooms and would definitely suggest the Tower if you like an elegant clean room. The poolside "Resort" rooms did not seem 5 star hotel rooms.The kids enjoyed the pool and the huge pool slide.

Speechless Holiday...You can only put it in few words....Weather,Hotel,Food,People, all were unique.The Palm on sea resort....you can see it from Space....The seven Star hotel on the sea resort is one of a kind....Talk about the tallest building in the world in central Dubai,it feels like that u are going to the moon!.This is a place for family,couples,business,singles.I would visit again.

Room Tip: always like always see if you get Sea View!

Stayed here as a "freebie" on the way to Sri Lanka and was very disappointed. We had an upgrade to a tower room however although a good size, it overlooked the other tower and on the first night the noise from the nightclub kept going until gone 2am - maybe the rooms looking outward to Dubai would be quieter. Breakfast was a free for all and due to the large numbers of Russian guests who took everything the poor staff were running around after them for the majority of the time. Reception staff were indifferent and concierge poor. The room also didn't have wifi and the hotel tried to charge exorbitant amount for wifi access so we didn't bother. All in all a very mediocre and average stay - wouldn't stay here again though, there are much better hotels in Dubai!!!

Stayed here celebrating my birthday with my partner and it was pretty much a shambles start to finish. When we arrived, after emailing the hotel various times warning them of our early arrival, all I had was a shrug from the incredibly rude staff member on reception and the comment 'it's a busy time of year'. For the price we paid and the 5* rating - simply not acceptable. I found the staff rude in every restaurant/bar at the hotel, except for the 2 bar men at the Cuban Bar who finally restored my faith in human nature! Room was ok and location was great but I felt very let down by the staff, they ruined what would have been a good holiday.

Just returned from the hotel after spending a week in a garden ground floor room, despite several emails to ask for a quiet room, i was told on check in that we could only be moved the next morning, what's the point of staying in one room to be moved the next day !, anyway the garden room turned out to be rather quiet, that was probably because there was no one at the Luciano restaurant which was on our doorstep so there was no noise, you can hear the music from the nightclub though.
The pool bar for food and drinks is very expensive and rather basic, the reception area is rather poor, i would say no way is this a five star hotel. The main pool area floor was rather dirty . On our last day we discovered the other pool on the third floor which had a far superior surrounding, however no one told us we could use it, The staff are very friendly especially the pool attendants and the cleaners of the rooms. I loved Dubai itself, this was our third visit, however I would not stay at this hotel again.
For three days of our stay, we had to put up with very rowdy behaviour from a large group who spent all day at the pool bar, i was shocked that they were not removed from the hotel as it caused problems for other guests, despite making several complaints to the hotel safety officers . It seems they were left to do as they pleased as they were spending so much money at the bar, very expensive. £3.00 for a water !!!

Also I would like to share with that our renovation projects are going on at full speed , including garden rooms renovation , pool deck , infinity pool and a brand new lobby with a great all day dining restaurant.
