pool, location etc ++. Very good service at the hotel. Warm water but even warmer in oman. . Manu tall builings, likeman hattans, but even much bigger. A perfect tour to Musandam area Endeless things to do. World biggeste of everything like malls and buildings , But still a day of the beach is quite ok.

We spent two nights here and overall everything was perfect and I'd mostly echo all the positive reviews the hotel already has received. Plate of dates at reception is a nice touch.

Arriving late evening from NY, there is an enormous amount of traffic in the marina area due to construction of a light rail, expect to spend a lot of time in traffic getting to the hotel. We finally got out and walked the last bit.

Metro to the creek area was about an hour. I'd recommend taking a taxi from the hotel to the metro station.

Executive level lounge was great! Amazing breakfast and afternoon drinks and snacks.

Found the prices at the pool/beach for food and drink to be a little extreme. Prices made spending time at the beach and ordering food and drink cost prohibitive.

We got bumped from our connecting flight to Colombo so we now have two free tickets to Dubai. Looks like We may be back.

We stayed here 18-22 February and have mixed views of the hotel.

The hotel is well located with friendly and efficient staff. However, next door is a large construction site which I’m afraid currently blights this hotel. This is a shame, because everything else about this hotel is fantastic.

Next door to the hotel they are constructing a large mall complex which we were told is due to open in February 2014. At the time of our stay, the construction was still just getting above foundation stage. The hotel website does warn that “To further enhance the key Dubai area, “The Walk”, construction and development is currently taking place near the hotel. Please note that these works can be seen from some rooms and may be audible at times”. What is does not say is that construction work is undertaken 24/7; i.e. all through the day and night. To give an idea of the scale of this work, there are 5 large cranes; the jib of one almost touches the 9th floor of the hotel. Unfortunately, this construction blights almost half of the hotel’s rooms.

Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the construction site; the first morning we asked to be moved after a disturbed night’s sleep. The hotel staff did everything they could to accommodate us and fortunately we were able to move to a room facing away from the sea; but it was quiet and much better.

We had an executive room and I would advise others to consider this upgrade. Not only can you have complimentary breakfast in more intimate and comfortable surroundings, but complimentary afternoon tea and nibbles. Best of all though is happy hour, actually two hours, (18:30 – 20:30) where drinks, including alcohol, are free. At Dubai prices, this perk can be quite valuable and it was pleasant to have a drink before going onto The Walk to find a restaurant for dinner.

The Walk is a long line of restaurants representing all parts of the globe and we had several great meals there. Beside The Walk is a straight road which seems to be a permanent line of slow moving cars. Ferraris, Lamborghinis and Porches are in abundance and parade past at slow speed; the owners just wanting to ‘be seen’.

The hotel has lots of bars, and restaurants, although the only restaurant we used (other than for breakfast) was the beach bar. The service and quality is what you’d expect from a 5*Hilton.
The beach is beautiful silver sand and sun loungers and towels are available at no cost.

Overall the hotel is great, except for the construction site next door. A shame; because this is a hotel of real quality.

Note: my poor rating for sleep quality and location is based purely on the current problems with the construction site.

Room Tip: Get a room with a pool view; this side of the hotel is away from the construction site

We stayed a week. King executive Suite. Really a two room combination which allowed us as 3 adults and a teen to share. Excellent Exceutive Lounge access. Included transfers.

Excellent Location, with Private serviced Beach. Beach is busy now that the residences are getting more use, but the team of staff sort you out a pitch, give good sized towels with flag system for drinks service. Soft sandy beach and only location of its kind, in our view, without paying Jumeirah group prices.

Small building , 10 floors, so compact with exceptional restaurant choice. Bice restaurant with the sky bar was superb. Wave breaker restaurant set between sand and grass terraces of the garden gave us a superb lunch or evening dinner.( used Entertainer vouchers most restaurants) Oceana buffet or a la carte was good too. Breakfast was the usual fare and only disappointment as very busy and the prepared scrambled egg was atrocious, no boiled eggs or other prepared choice, which meant for lines at the egg station. Even the mushrooms were lathered in onion. Not our favourite. We kept it simple in the club lounge but this also was heavily in demand for tables for 4 as it was UK half term.

Cleanliness and housekeeping were excellent throughout with good room service, so we enjoyed the facility of the room.

We chose floor 8 car park side room 813. Much quieter than new build Beach shopping Mall.

Currently this area is in major rebuild, again! Both sides are working 7 days and nights but it really did not spoil our holiday. We were given our room choice and so were in the best spot.

We would choose to stay here again. When we looked back at the hotel from the beach it all looked so quaint and friendly compared to the high rise mountain behind.

The new builds will take at least 9 months, so if that worries you choose elsewhere, but we loved our stay and thought the whole team of staff to be exceptional in every department.

Thanks for a great week.

Room Tip: High rooms. Executive if possible. Car park, pool side.

This hotel is the stuff that dreams are made of! Delicious food (esp the live breakfast!) and modern decor. The glass staircase and huge executive rooms are amazing. Fruit was fresh and the room had a lovely view. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for two nights in an executive room. The room was big with a balcony and all the usual Hilton amenities. The pool area is really nice with a swim up bar, but was in the shade, which might be a relief during the Arabian summer, but in winter it would be nice to catch some sun. The beach was excellent. Plenty of loungers were available and the beach is spotless. The sea is shallow and warm, even in January. The little beach bar is handy, but a bit steep. Two bottles of Magners and two 1L bottles of water came to 30GBP! If you plan on having a few drinks in the evening,it might be worth upgrading to an executive room for use of the lounge. Free breakfast in the exec. lounge as well. The executive lounge is different to other Hilton ones I've used in that there is no alcohol in the lounge itself. There is table service, which was really good, and the alcoholic drink is brought through to you. The free drink is between six and eight in the evening. Liked this hotel and may return, the only downside was the noisy building site next door, but I guess you're never too far from a building site in Dubai!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are nice, however,if you can,get a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the...

This proved to be an excellent choice. It's still a jewel which holds a very privelaged position in the JBR area of Dubai surounded by a thriving nightlife of cafes and restaurants. What makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the high quality of service. Nothing is too much trouble. Great set up with a pool and good access to private beach area.

Room Tip: We took a rooms 867 and 868 which are interconnected and allow a great set up for famillies, especia...
