Why such a drama when I want to extend my reservation for one night at the same rate. You want me to get authorisation from my company, to extend a reservation for a day? on a public holiday? Thanks for finally seeing sense and otherwise having nice staff, good room service cheeseburger... but the hotel is a standard Sheraton, nothing special. Heavy traffic at this end of Jumeirah walks add to getting around Dubai.

Excellent location, beautiful hotel and very accomodating staff. The beach was a bit washed away from a recent storm but cannot blame the hotel for that. The beds were a little old and were not up to the quality of the sheraton beds that I have seen in the past, but it likely was just an exception. The grounds were awesome and the hotel was very very clean. I will definetly stay there again the next time I am in Dubai. The Club lounge was perfect and had a beautiful view.

We hopped to Dubai before Christmas just for a couple of days to escape the cold european weather. We requested a car pick-up at the airport and were afraid it wouldn't work, since our flight - already scheduled to arrive late in the evening - was alomost an hour late. But the hotel driver was waiting patiently in the arrival hall with our name plate. Nice. Check-in was very friendly and helpful, the whole lobby being nicely decorated for the festive days. Upon booking we requested an extra bed for our daughter, which was not in place once we checked in. After having stowed our bags we went for a drink in the nice surroundings of the hotel park, enjoying the chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. Back in the room everything was ready as requested. Nice again. The rest of the stay was very relaxing as well, we enjoyed the privacy of the little beach section, the nice chill-out music, drinks, food, staff.
We felt welcome, though we left after only a few days. Thanx!
