Very well organized conference facility, the Food was excellent. right next to the airport (5min). the main disadvantage is far away from down town, which is good if you want to keep the participants committed..

Room Tip: ask for a quite room

Clean comfortable rooms though a little on the small side for a hotel of this class rating, excellent sound proofing makes the airport seem a lot farther away.

Have a pick up from the airport service, and limos that will take you wherever you need to go for a little bit more than the local taxis, but it is just so much nicer travelling and arriving at your destination in a Jaguar, Merc or Top of the range 4x4!

Good room service menus, excellent buffet selection that changes each night of the week in Choices Restaurant, great Thai restaurant, great service ..... a laundry service that delivers back to you several hours faster than it promises.

The only real downside of this hotel is that internet access is not free, and is pretty pricey.

Room Tip: To get a really good nights sleep don't have a room on the atrium you get piano music all evenin...

This is the second time I've stayed here and generally have found it ok and pretty comfortable. There are some really nice restaurants but all pretty expensive. The pool area is nice and the rooms are comfortable. All the staff I encountered were extremely helpful. My biggest gripe from a hotel where you are paying more than €200 per night is that they charge for using the wifi - €5 per hour - even if you want to print off a boarding pass they will charge for it. This to me is petty and is the reason I won't be coming back. In such a competitive market as Dubai why pay for something that is provided free elsewhere .

Location is also close to the airport which is not far from Dubai centre but less crowded

My expectation were high since I remember the first days of this hotel and how staff were so attentive and eager to cement Rotana name and they were successfull in the mid nineties... Check in was very slow and I mentioned the same to the senior receptionist whose response was that I should motivate and encourage the gentlman who checked me in as he was in his training phase.... wow.... and who will encourage and motivate me after nearly 11 hours of travel....! checked in around 7 pm and room as upgraded which I was gratefull but it would have been a plus if a turned down was done as it is a hastle after a long trip to empty your bag, send items for pressing....and prepare your bed... Tried their outlets and I have to admit the food and the F&B Service were quite good, I enjoyed their food. Seond day, meeting facilities were quite comfortable and check out was smooth. During my stay I was impressed by a gentlman at the concierge named Isaac, who helped me to secure a nice flower arrangement that I needed for a dinner invitation and had no time to organize it, he was always jumping in to assist .... it is quite reassuring to have such staff to turn around guest experience to a positive one.....

It's a comfortable and convient to the airport hotel but nothing to write home about. Close enough to the Burj Dubai and other locations by taxi for the right price. The staff were helpful with suggestions and questions.

Have visited Al Bustan twice this month, one time in one of the Club Rooms and one time in a Classic King which was upgraded to Premium King(2x 5 days).

On the Club Room - room is nice with a balcony, pleasant bed everything there you need. Bathroom is another story, it is very (very) outdated but still clean. Bath and Shower are separated, but the shower cubicle/corner was very small. Even with my size (regular build 5.7ft) i was bumping in the walls. Great thing is the Club room which servers excellent breakfast and drinks/snacks from 6-8pm (don't need dinner if your a light eater). Service from the staff is excellent - nothing to complain about.

Then the upgraded (thank you) Premium King room. Room itself was not bad, just no balcony(club room). Bathroom was quite small and again very very outdated. Towels need replacement as they look tired and are not soft anymore (same Club Room). Positive thing was that I got special soaps/amenities from L'ocitane which was very nice. Quite unbelievable that I did not get that in the Club Room (where I would expect them). Another note, iron/iron board was not available in the room, they brought one up but it stained my shirt!.

Now we come to the bad part - Breakfast downstairs was quite busy and unfortunately not very well organized. No free tables available, but many empty with used dishes on top of it. Every morning same story. Quite disappointing from Rotana. One morning, they turned up the music so loud that it did not even resemble background music.

What these guys did do very well was being friendly and quick on requests - from bell boy, doorman, reception and room service. So in summary they really need to update the bathrooms and get the breakfast area sorted out in the morning.

Looking at the prices now, asking more than 800AED for a Twin bed Classic Room - its way over priced. Will probably come back for the Club Room deals - which are value for money.

Room Tip: Go for Club, Premium rooms, look for packages that include wifi/breakfast.
