This was not my first visit, but the first time I've sat inside and been dying from heat. There was absolutely no air flow or air conditioning where the six of us were sitting. We were blasted with hot air every time the door was opened. As always, the food was great and the drinks kept coming. The band was a little loud where we were sitting but they were really good. Pretty good value for money, great location and great setting.

Room Tip: ask to sit somewhere which isn't boiling hot

Mina al Salam, Madinate Jumierah or adjacent hotel Al Qasr, both run by Jumierah group, are set to take you on a true Arabian Journey. It can be sufficient to stay there and do nothing at all on a short four days stay. The rooms are very well equipped with views over the ocean or even side views of the canal, most rooms will give you the stunning view of Burj Al Arab, the famous 7 stars, Sail ship all modern symbolic icon of Dubai. Bedsheets, duvets, pillows, toilets all set to impress in their executive rooms. With a private balcony and seats. Their breakfast is also very good, with indoor and a huge outdoors seating overlooking their man made " Venice" canals with canoes... All your transport by boat to the Souq, which embodies the most exquisite architecture of Arabian Heritage, and shops to match, from designer items, to soaps, local perfumeries ranging from $ 20 to $500 same for essence burners, ...very exotic! To Pashminas ranging in price from $10 to $10,000 or more !!! It's quite intersting learning journey . These boats are free for you as a guest of hotel. You may even request the boat to take you for the longest tour of the canals to get an overview of the whole hotel , adjacent restaurants and he will gladly do it, and they speak perfect English ,very friendly as well as being knowledgable. You will international branded restaurants like Traders Vicks, even burger king on the Souq side, but you can't go wrong with the hotel restaurants as well as their adjoining restaurants, you have the widest selection of restaurants covering every cuisine on the globe, with different budgets, but they are all the good and best categories. For food coinisseurs is a caviar house, sea food together with finest drinks that will leave you coming back to Dubai. You will be given complimentary entrance to wildwadi,a water theamed park, great fun for adults and children. Free transport by hotel only 10 minutes) away! You can also visit next door iconic Burj Al Arab. If you have a short break it's the most relaxing spot in Dubai, where you can let go of everything. Perfect for longer stays too and you can go anywhere within 15 minutes ride by taxis, which are cheap.

Room Tip: Facing burj al Arab it will never be forgotten .

Just returned from having 17 Nights at the Mina A Salam ......Our second visit to this Hotel and ninth visit to Dubai.

The Staff , Food , and general ambiance was faultless throughout . The Jumeriah philosophy of 'attention to detail ' was nothing less than 10 out 10.

We met some fantastic people and had made new friends ! To those you knock Dubai for its affluence .........please stay away !
We worked all year for our holiday and look forward to our summer holiday next year at the Mina !

Room Tip: Arabian Deluxe or Ocean Sea View - Both fantastic

I cannot state enough how amazing the staff are at this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very generously proportioned and the facilities excellent. I have stayed there four times now and hope I will go there again in the future. The choice of restaurants is very good as is the food.

Room Tip: We upgraded to an ocean de luxe room with lovely sea views.

Madinat Jumeirah is a waterfront resort that consists of several hotels, water park and a shopping and dining centre, I spent 2 nights in Mina Al Salam, the hotel has an amazing oriental touch, very friendly staff and spacious rooms and toilets .. the view is spectacular over looking the PALM and BURJ AL ARAB.

Room Tip: get the room facing the seafront

We were as a family in Mina A' Salam for the 5th time and had beautiful 2.5 weeks. The Ocean Suite is very tastefully decorated, spacious, luxurious. If you can, go for a suite!
The staff, especially at the Premium Leisure Club is very friendly, service oriented, attentive and really fond of children. Especially Ray, Sri Abyot and were very spoiled and bent over all legs for us. Thank you very much, guys! The hotel manager comes by himself and asks if everything is ok. Highly Recommended!
Especially for children, the location, the beach and pools with lots of lifeguards and proximity to the Wild Wadi Water Park is very good. Drive a buggy from the hotel to the Wild Wadi, where you don't have to queue up at the separate entrance for hotel guests, and admission is free.
