We loved the location of the resort- right on the beach.
Stayed 2 nights and were upgraded to a suite which was huge!

The room had everything you could imagine and great views of the ocean.
It was extremely hot but the air conditioning was excellent through out the resort.
Staff were very helpful and assisted me in contacting the airline for our chauffer pick up time. Always ready to help when needed.

Taxis were always on hand at the door and it was a short ride to the mall or the airport.
Pools were plentiful and so were the sun lounges. Loved the temperature of the pools- just right to cool down on a hot day.
The beach had lounges and umbrellas too- there was also a buggy to take you back to the resort.
The beach was wonderful. very clean and the water crystal clear. Great temperature too. While you swam you could see the camels walking along the beach to offer rides to tourists.

Breakfast selection was truly amazing. Lots of variety and chefs on hand to cook whatever you wanted. Plenty of restaurants in the resort.

We used the Hamman pools and spa areas. Very relaxing.

Would happily return to this resort

Room Tip: A room overlooking the beach

We stayed here for our honeymoon. I'm just speechless. They upgraded us for free. We were treated liked royalty but EVERY member if staff. The rooms were soooo clean we actually walked bare foot. We got complimentary fruit and water every day. Breakfast was amazing. Shame my tummy isn't big enough to consume so much. Quality was just out of the world. The hotel has candles burning everywhere so it smells and looks amazing. The beach was totally private and u get a buggy to take u there even though it's an easy 3-4 min walk. We booked restaurants n excursions all through the hotel. Again can't fault the service. Taxis arrived promptly. Shuttle service was a bonus and saved taxi fares. We were central to local restaurants along jumeriah beach. Maybe a 15-20 min walk.
I would loooooove to stay here again. No hotel will ever compare.
We met people who had stayed in the burj and The Jumeriah and they all preferred this hotel, now that's saying a lot.
U won't regret ur stay here!!!!!

Having travelled on the overnight flight, we arrived at the hotel at breakfast time after being collected in a beautiful BMW 7series and chauffer driven to the hotel. What a start to our holiday. Although our room wasn’t ready, we were taken to the club lounge where breakfast and coffee was offered to us. We were given a pager so that we could explore the hotel and grounds whilst we waited (if we wanted to) but our wait was no longer than an hour. Our room was plush and luxurious and scrupulously clean with everything you could think of in the room to add to the enjoyment of the stay and the bed was huge and comfortable.

Upon recommendation we had booked to stay in a Club Tower room with sea view which included breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés and drinks in the evening. We weren’t disappointed. The staff in the tower were exceptional and very attentive.

The weather was very warm at around 36 – 40 degrees but the hotel pools were very refreshing. The private beach was fantastic, the sea being lovely and warm and the sand like powder. Again, the beach staff were really good and regularly brought round cold flannels and ices to keep you cool.

During our stay we booked to go into the Caracella Spa rooms and used the Hamann pools, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi which were all really amazing before going for massages which were absolute bliss and well worth it as a treat.

The Hotel has some amazing restaurants with the food being of an exceptional standard. Our favourite was the Arabic restaurant, Al Khaima. We found the food and atmosphere to be excellent and the belly dancer as the entertainment added to the authenticity of the setting. We also tried shisha which was something we hadn’t tried before and this also added to the enjoyment of the evenings we ate there.

The bus tour is recommended to see more of Dubai and what it has to offer and you can hop on and off this tour if you want to stay somewhere and explore somewhere a bit longer.
The shopping centres are amazing as are the souks with many bargains to be had and another must has to be a visit to the Burj Khalifa with its amazing views from the top. We went at night but plan to go during the day when we go back.

All in all we had a fantastic holiday and cannot rate the Hotel and its staff highly enough. We felt really special for the whole of our stay so much so that have already booked a return trip which is fast approaching in a few week’s time. We had unbelievable service and hospitality and are counting down the weeks until we are there again.

Had to check in early and to our wonderful surprise they upgraded us to the Tower suites. From the moment you enter and with every interaction you have with the staff at Le Royal customer service is of the utmost importance. Even the fastidious traveller would have difficulty finding fault with this hotel. My only criticism is the pool menu is limiting and also very expensive .

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade you may be surprised with the response .

Arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning and we were met by the very courteous and friendly staff. We were shown to our room and all the facilities were explained to us and then our bags arrived in time for us to get some sleep. The only niggle I had about the room was the seal around the patio door was damaged or perished which allowed the noise of the gardeners lawn mowers to awaken me up at 6 am each morning. Buffet breakfast was included and I couldn't fault it. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented and the choice was enormous. AS this was mostly a relaxing holiday for us we had the choice of the 3 pools in the lawned area in the hotel grounds. The pool attendants were fantastic and the frequent delivery of a cold flannel was a godsend as well as the occasional slush puppy in a tiny cup. The only minor fault I came across was the fact that the arms on the sun loungers are painted a chocolate brown colour which after a few hours in the 40 degrees plus heat, can burn the skin (than heaven for the flannels as they doubled up as good arm rest protectors!) As we were celebrating our 30-th anniversary the Hotel delivered a bottle of champers and an absolutely beautiful bouquet of flowers. Just a pity we couldn't bring them back with us as they were still in full bloom on departure day. The Hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from the Dubai Marina which is a sight to behold especially at night and around the corner from the hotel is the "Walk". Although the hotel is quite away from Dubai City it costs about £10 each way to get there. If you prefer, the Metro is about a 15 minute walk and is well worth it to get around Dubai and is a fraction of the cost of a taxi. All in all the hotel and staff are fantastic and I will definitely stay there again either for a holiday or as a stopover to Australia / New Zealand.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better view of the "Palm"

Stayed here a few years ago and remember the place being quite outdated. It has recently been completely renovated and what a transformation. We had a room over looking the sea and Marina, and it was breathtaking at night. The room was beautiful, and I stay in a lot of hotels...... My only gripe would be that the bathroom was tiny considering the standard of the room. The communal areas were beautiful, and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was excellent, and we also ate at the Italian which was great. Would definitely recommend this for a few days in Dubai, as a holiday or business location.

Room Tip: High floor facing sea
