Close to the Dubai Metro(WTC) and a very good hotel. Free Wifi included but no breakfast. Very clean room. Nice clean toilet and shower. The Dubai metro would get you anywhere in Dubai in a heartbeat.
Would highly recommend to anyone.

I got the room which costs around 164AED per night (without breakfast.) For the quality of the room, it was totally worth it, because the rooms with similar size in Dubai cost a lot more. The hotel is located in a very short walking distance from Dubai Metro - World Trade Centre station. It is also not far from Dubai Mall if you take taxi. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Only that I misunderstood during check-in that there is free wi-fi, but it is not free. The bed was more or less okay. There was working table and the TV with enough variety of channels. The bathroom is definitely too small. When someone is sitting on the toilet boil, there is not much space left to get in.

very nice from outside . very close to world trade center metro station (about 50 meters)
the rooms were very old , the bathroom was very very small reminded me of an airplane bathroom . the staff were excellent . the lobby area was huge and modern . good breakfast for a reasonable price . good hotel after all but the rooms need renovation .

Ibis chain is one of the best value in the horribly expensive city of Dubai. The World Trade Centre hotel is easy to drive to, with secured free parking in the World Trade Centre carparking building. It is also 5mins from the metro station if travelling this way, and taxis all know where it is. The hotel is not fancy, but the price is amazing - check out various websites to get the best rates. Check into the Ibis, and you are able to use the swimming pool and gym at the nearby Novotel. There are a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes in the World trade centre hall and nearby, or just hop on the metro to take you into the city centre and Deira.
Staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are plain but clean, with a minimum of amenities. There are tea/coffee facilities and a dispenser for soap, but no hairdryer in room - you have to request it. Free wifi is available, and its fast. Make sure you get the password from reception. Computers are also available in the lobby. there are smoking and non-smoking floors. The smoking floors smell a bit, so make sure you choose the right floor if you dont smoke. Dispensing machines on each floor by the elevators have water and juice. There is a secure room for storing valuables near reception also.
Breakfast, if not included in the room rate, costs 55dhs, but if you book it when you check in, its only 45 dhs. Good selection of foods and I think a good price. The same place at night is the Cubo pasta restaurant, which is excellent.
Good place to stay in Dubai without blowing your budget.

Room Tip: Non smokers must ask for non-smoking floors.

There is no service for luggage, we were told to take our own luggage to our rooms as if it was a Travelodge. We had lots of luggage as we were moving house and needed a place to stay for one night. Rooms are tiny. Even at the AED 250 rate this is not worth it.

I stayed from 8-9 Aug 2012 with a friend and we took the business deal and paid more to get Free Internet, Breakfast and One Free Laundry.

1. When i was checking in the Gentlemen Engel asked me how would i settle my bill i said Credit Card. He took it and authorize it for 350 AED while he was suppose to charge only 248 AED so i asked why its taking long so he said he is Authorizing so i confronted, i said when i am paying you full why you need authorization and what for.

He said "Sir if you use anything in room so i said there is nothing there or in my life experience with IBIS i never had anything in room, no fridge, no mini bar so i said what for, he was like may be internet so i said its all paid i dont see any reason for you to authorize and if you need deposit please take it but dont charge on my credit card"

He charged me but guess what! 5 mins after i got a message from my BANK saying you have been charged on CC 350 AED which i showed to him and he was like its ok, its always like this and do not worry. I asked him to gave me authorization slips so he only gave me receipt and customer copy but not actual.

"Now i dont know will i be charged 350 AED or actual amount

2. I asked him for our free internet but speed wasnt that good

3. I asked him about free breakfast so he said yes you can have so i asked him can i have suhoor instead of breakfast so he said yes, so i asked the timing he said 4.30 and i was like what? 4.20 Suhoor will finish and you open restaurant at 4.30 so got confuse.

He asked someone and they were like 2 then they said 2.30 so i asked him can you confirm with restaurant so he said restaurant is there you can check with them so i had to go there and ask

4. When i asked restaurant about menu so they said it will be different than breakfast so i asked why different, as we paid for breakfast and converting it to suhoor and the difference is 2 hours only so why dishes will be less so they said this is how it is.

5. When i asked them about serving it in room so they expected me to come at 2.30 down to the restaurant and make a long walk to restaurant. No Issue. I was shocked with the Menu i.e. Cold Cuts, Mix Fruit, Bread, Butter, Jam, Laban, Fruit Yogurt, Boiled and Fried Egg, Labnah with Garlic, Tea, Coffee, Orange Juice (concentrated), Apricot Juice (Qamardeen) and i guess Apple Juice (concentrated).

Now talk about hot food, turkey bacon, fried noodles with hardly any vegetable, Potato Munches, Foul and Baked Beans (both taste too sweet)

Is that Suhoor Menu or Muslim Menu???? Its very English Menu and English people dont fast....i was too shocked....me and my friend literally waited and confronted for 10 mins and expected they may change menu or bring something else for us which didnt happen. So we had to go with that.

6. I had free laundry, now when you check in its hotel staff responsibility to inform you that Sir you checking out this time so please make sure you give your laundry at this time else you wont get it so they assumed i know everything. I checked in around 6.10 PM and When i called them around 9.30 PM they said Sir if you would have given it to us before 7 PM so we could have given it to you by morning and now if you give we will give you by 8PM next day.

I was shocked, i said do you know what time i am checking out 4 PM, then i asked where i am from Abu Dhabi so shall i wait for laundry delivery till 8 PM.

I told them at the time of check in that please make it fast as i had to go out and even at that time they didnt mention, i requested them 3 to 4 times that please do it urgently they were like you have to pay so i was like why when i already paid.

IT SEEMS THEY KNOW THEY ARE 2-3 Star HOTEL and THIS IS ALL OVER THEIR MIND. THEY KNOW THEY ARE BUDGET HOTEL SO THEY WILL TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY.

I have called the Manager so Duty Manager Mr. Ahmed came, it was my 2nd interaction with him after the issues i had at Novotel so he was as calm and polite as usual. He was as understanding as ever and heard all of my issues very calmly and professionally and ensured my issues will be heard.
